Story

Gromit is 10 years old and has a gentle, affectionate disposition. She is very friendly and enjoys snuggling and receiving attention. She is generally quiet and only barks when someone knocks on the front door. Gromit enjoys going for walks and will comfortably follow along both on and off leash; she does not run away. She is fully house-trained and reliably does her business outdoors. Gromit has been part of my extended family since she was found as a young puppy wandering alone. Since that time, she has been well cared for and kept current on all veterinary care and vaccinations. Her veterinary records are maintained by the clinic in Louisiana where she was first treated and continue to document her care over the years. Gromit originally belonged to my brother and his wife. Tragically, my sister-in-law passed away about eight years ago, when Gromit was still young, and my brother passed away this past April. I am not a good dog dad and she needs more than I can offer.

She is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people and takes her responsibilities as household supervisor very seriously. Wednesday is currently accepting applications for permanent staff. Spike's DOB is 6/3/2020; he is now 6 yrs old. We adopted him from the Humane Society in August 2021. Since then, my Autistic son does not like to have him around. In addition to that, financially it's been tough since I lost my job last year. We hate to have to rehome him since he is our first family pet, but it is best for us. I have been trying to rehome him by taking him to shelters since October 2025; however, shelters are full. Spike answers to his name, and he responds well to commands. He will be best with a family with younger children or even adults who have a lot of attention to give.

Lola is the sweetest and kindest friend who only wishes to love you at all times. We are currently looking for any loving and patient persons/families to take in the 7 year old boxer mix. We are fostering her for a friend due to potential signs of jealousy (before, Lola was very protective of the baby), there was no harm but they did not want to take any chances. She is very friendly to all and loves to play, especially with rope toys. She will stick to you like tape and will want to be by your side almost all the time. She is house trained, knows the “sit, stay, lay down” command and responds to her name (Does need practice).
