Story
Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found dumped on the side of the road in a crate with another dog who has since been adopted. Bijou was matted and terrified when he arrived at Tiny Paws. It’s been a long road but he has made excellent progress and come such a long way in his foster home, but is still quite shy when meeting new people. Bijou is sweet and affectionate to his foster mom. He is so excited to see her that he gets the “tippy tappies” and that has become his nickname. He loves his foster siblings and we are requiring another confident dog in the home that can help show him the ropes! At this time, we are also requiring a home with a fenced yard for him. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Please note that non-local applications will be reviewed only after all local applications have been thoroughly evaluated. Louie is a 1-year-old Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu mix, often referred to as a Teddy Bear breed. We acquired him from a reputable breeder in Indiana when he was a puppy. Louie is a sweet, loving, and playful dog with a big personality. He enjoys being around people, loves to play, and does especially well with children. He is affectionate, friendly, energetic, and enjoys being part of family activities. We are looking for a loving home where Louie will receive the time, attention, and companionship he deserves. With a new baby joining our family, we have made the difficult decision to rehome him because we know we will not be able to give him the level of attention and engagement he needs to thrive. Our goal is to find a family or individual who can provide him with a stable, caring environment where he will be loved and included as part of the family. This decision has not been made lightly, and we are committed to finding the best possible home for Louie.
