Story
Bonus is an entertaining 2yr old 11lb boy that is looking for a very special forever home. He needs a family committed to his health and happiness. Bonus continues to improve from a corrective surgery for a liver shunt. He is currently living a normal spunky life but will require an owner with a vet that understands follow up care to assure he continues to thrive. Bonus is an excellent companion with lots of love and laughter to share with his family. He loves walks, tossing toys, fluffy dog beds, chewing on bones, napping on laps, zooming around the house and showing off his quick ninja moves. Bonus would love an easy going but fun dog companion or two and a home without small kids. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. I met Jingles in November of 2021, and I lived with her at a family friend's house for two months while completing my B.S Biology at Georgia State University and working full time at Emory Univ. Hospital. I graduated and moved back home with my sister, and the family friend asked me to take her in because she could not give her the love and affection she felt she needed in December 2022. I have been with Jingles for about ten months and am now enrolled in Law School. I moved away and had to leave Jingles behind with my parents, who could no longer care for her. Due to me living on campus, I can not get her as well. Therefore, I would like for someone to adopt her. She is very calm, chill, and sweet. She is very low-maintenance and self-sufficient. She likes some love and to know she is taken care of. Jingles is two years old and 11 months; her birthday is on 7/30/2020. I am looking for Jingles to be in a safe loving environment. I also want someone who is going to be active with her.
