Story
If you've ever dreamed of having a miniature Saint Bernard, meet Yeti! With his gorgeous markings and fluffy coat, this handsome little guy is guaranteed to turn heads wherever he goes. Yeti is believed to be a Pekingese/Pomeranian mix and was estimated by our veterinarian to be around 5 years old. Yeti came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner passed away. Overnight, his entire world changed. Losing the only home he knew left Yeti feeling uncertain, and while he's still learning that everything is going to be okay, he tries very hard to be brave. At first, Yeti can be a bit shy, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet dog who wants to connect. He has approached volunteers with a gentle, low wagging tail, seeking affection and reassurance. Each day, we see him gain a little more confidence as he learns to trust the people around him. Yeti is looking for a calm, patient home that will meet him where he is and continue helping him build confidence at his own pace. Because he takes comfort in canine companionship, he would do best in a home with another friendly, social dog who can show him the ropes and help him feel secure. This sweet boy has been through a lot of change, but with love, patience, and a four-legged role model, we know Yeti's personality will continue to blossom. If you have a quiet home and room in your heart for a deserving dog who just needs a little confidence boost, Yeti may be the perfect addition to your family. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Right now, Yeti has some missing fur on his back end due to fleas. He (and his friends) have been fully treated so now just needs time for the fur to grow back. Story
Meet Wicket, a beautiful 5-year-old Pekingese mix with a stunning russet-red coat, adorable white socks, and a white chest that make him impossible to miss. This handsome little guy has the looks to turn heads, but it's his gentle spirit that will truly capture your heart. Wicket came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner sadly passed away. In an instant, the life he knew disappeared, leaving him unsure of what comes next. While all of the recent changes have been overwhelming, Wicket is doing his best to navigate this new chapter and learn that he is safe. Like many dogs from his prior home, Wicket can be timid and nervous in new environments. He is still building confidence and learning how to handle things like leash walking and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beneath that uncertainty, however, is a sensitive dog who wants to trust and connect with the people around him. Wicket is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to adjust and grow. A quiet household would be ideal, and because he is still working through his fears, a home without young children is preferred. Wicket would especially love a home with another friendly, social dog who can help show him the ropes and provide reassurance as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. This pretty boy may not be the first to run up and greet strangers, but for the family willing to invest in him, Wicket's journey will be incredibly rewarding. Watching a shy dog blossom into a confident companion is one of life's greatest gifts, and Wicket is ready for someone to help him discover just how wonderful life can be. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Apply for adoption at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $500 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Story
Ollie is a handsome Tibetan Spaniel/Peki x that is about a year old and weighs 16 lbs. This boy was found a couple weeks ago in a field by the Texas/Mexico border, with no people or houses for miles. After looking for his owners and nobody came forward, he is now ready to find his forever home. Ollie loves attention from humans. He seeks you out and feels safe being next to you. His favorite place to be is in the fosters lap. He is curious about cats, and he tries to sniff them, but otherwise he gets along great with the fosters inside cats and could live happily with them long term. Ollie is fine with smaller dogs, but he gets very scared around dogs bigger than him. We do not know his history, but he doesn’t seem to be fully house trained. The foster is working with him on this, but he will need consistent training on this in his future home. Ollie is doing great in a crate at night. He whimpers at first as he would much rather sleep in the fosters bed than anything, and we hope whoever adopts him gives him the chance to be the bestest cuddle buddy ever. He would be fine with older children! Ollie isn’t sure what toys are, which is so sad. We are slowly introducing things to him as we don’t want to overwhelm him. We have not worked with him on leash training so this will need to be worked on. We truly believe with a patient home, he will come out of his shell fully and just flourish. An ideal home for Ollie would be with someone that works from home, or who is home more often than not. We believe wherever he lived before, they just threw him in the backyard and forgot about him, judging by how little he knows on how to be a house doggy. What we do know is that Ollie is such a love bug. He loves cuddles. Loves laps. Wants to please and get lots of pets in return. He just wants a home where he will be truly cared for and doted on. Ollie will be neutered, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Story
Meet Tipi! This sweet senior 9 yr old little boy has a heart full of love and is happiest when he's close to his favorite people. Whether he's following you from room to room or curling up in his pet bed. Tipi simply loves being part of the family. He absolutely loves walks and he must be on a leash at all times whenever he is outdoors. If he is not on a leash he will run from you and not listen. He is very fast on his little feet. He will sometimes try to dash out the door even when he is inside the house. It would be suggested for him to be in a fenced yard or have an invisible fence for him even when he is on a leash.   He's a smart, affectionate dog that likes to give you kisses. But what he truly treasures most is spending time with people that want to include him in with their family. He’s loyal, gentle nature makes him a wonderful companion who will happily be by your side through all of life's adventure and quiet moments, too. If you're looking for a devoted senior best friend who will shower you with love and always want to be near you, Tipi is ready to find his forever home.  August 19, 2026, 7:57 pm
