Story
If you've ever dreamed of having a miniature Saint Bernard, meet Yeti! With his gorgeous markings and fluffy coat, this handsome little guy is guaranteed to turn heads wherever he goes. Yeti is believed to be a Pekingese/Pomeranian mix and was estimated by our veterinarian to be around 5 years old. Yeti came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner passed away. Overnight, his entire world changed. Losing the only home he knew left Yeti feeling uncertain, and while he's still learning that everything is going to be okay, he tries very hard to be brave. At first, Yeti can be a bit shy, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet dog who wants to connect. He has approached volunteers with a gentle, low wagging tail, seeking affection and reassurance. Each day, we see him gain a little more confidence as he learns to trust the people around him. Yeti is looking for a calm, patient home that will meet him where he is and continue helping him build confidence at his own pace. Because he takes comfort in canine companionship, he would do best in a home with another friendly, social dog who can show him the ropes and help him feel secure. This sweet boy has been through a lot of change, but with love, patience, and a four-legged role model, we know Yeti's personality will continue to blossom. If you have a quiet home and room in your heart for a deserving dog who just needs a little confidence boost, Yeti may be the perfect addition to your family. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Right now, Yeti has some missing fur on his back end due to fleas. He (and his friends) have been fully treated so now just needs time for the fur to grow back. Story
Meet Wicket, a beautiful 5-year-old Pekingese mix with a stunning russet-red coat, adorable white socks, and a white chest that make him impossible to miss. This handsome little guy has the looks to turn heads, but it's his gentle spirit that will truly capture your heart. Wicket came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner sadly passed away. In an instant, the life he knew disappeared, leaving him unsure of what comes next. While all of the recent changes have been overwhelming, Wicket is doing his best to navigate this new chapter and learn that he is safe. Like many dogs from his prior home, Wicket can be timid and nervous in new environments. He is still building confidence and learning how to handle things like leash walking and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beneath that uncertainty, however, is a sensitive dog who wants to trust and connect with the people around him. Wicket is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to adjust and grow. A quiet household would be ideal, and because he is still working through his fears, a home without young children is preferred. Wicket would especially love a home with another friendly, social dog who can help show him the ropes and provide reassurance as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. This pretty boy may not be the first to run up and greet strangers, but for the family willing to invest in him, Wicket's journey will be incredibly rewarding. Watching a shy dog blossom into a confident companion is one of life's greatest gifts, and Wicket is ready for someone to help him discover just how wonderful life can be. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Apply for adoption at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $500 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Meet Tumble, a handsome 5-year-old Pekingese mix with striking coloring and an adorable look that is sure to turn heads wherever he goes. Tumble came to ACCT Philly alongside 11 other dogs after their owner sadly passed away. In an instant, the world he knew was turned upside down. After making his way to us, Tumble has been slowly learning how to navigate all of these changes, but it's clear he still feels very unsure about his new reality. Right now, Tumble is a nervous boy who is looking for a patient family willing to help him build confidence. He struggles with leash skills and can be especially worried when it's time to put on a collar and leash. While these things may feel overwhelming to him today, we know that with time, consistency, and kindness, Tumble has the potential to make tremendous progress. Tumble is seeking a quiet, low-key home that will meet him where he is and celebrate the small victories along the way. Because he is still fearful and adjusting, a home without children is preferred so he can continue gaining confidence at his own pace. He would also love to have a friendly, social dog in the home to help show him that the world isn't such a scary place. Having a canine role model could make a huge difference in helping him blossom. Beneath Tumble's uncertainty is a deserving dog who simply needs someone willing to give him the time and patience. If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and are willing to help a shy dog discover his courage, Tumble may be the perfect companion for you. Watching him gain confidence and learn to trust will be a journey well worth taking. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Story
Say hi to Sir Floorfington! This 1-year-old Pekingese/Chihuahua mix may have a royal name, but he's more interested in ruling your lap than a kingdom. Weighing 16 pounds, Sir Floorfington came to us after his owner passed away. He previously lived in a home with 12 dogs, so he's no stranger to canine company and gets along well with other dogs. This happy little ham loves being the center of attention, is always up for cuddles, and has plenty of playful energy to burn as he zooms around the yard. He seems to keep his crate clean, would likely do well with children, and can be cat tested if needed. If you're looking for a fun-loving sidekick with a big personality and an even bigger desire to be wherever you are, Sir Floorfington is ready to claim his throne in your home. PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Originated from ACCT KL 08313 Some dogs take a little extra time to show you who they really are, and sweet Nimbus is one of those special souls. At approximately 2 years old, this magnificent mixed-breed boy came to us from a local shelter feeling unsure of the world around him. At first, he was quiet and shy, taking everything in at his own pace. But with a little patience, kindness, and love, Nimbus has blossomed into the happiest, most affectionate companion. Now that he's comfortable, his playful personality shines brighter every day! Nimbus absolutely loves racing around the yard with joyful zoomies, making his doggy friends laugh as they chase each other. He's social with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to romp and play with. When playtime is over, Nimbus is all about soaking up affection. He has discovered just how wonderful it is to be loved and returns that love with gentle cuddles, happy tail wags, and a loyal heart. Watching his confidence grow has been one of the greatest joys, and he's ready to share that happiness with a family of his own. Nimbus is doing wonderfully with both crate training and house training, making him well on his way to being an easy addition to his forever home. He has also recently been neutered and is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Nimbus is looking for a family that will continue to help him build his confidence while embracing his playful, loving spirit. Story
Meet Trinket! You know those little treasures you stumble across that make you smile? That’s our Trinket. :-) Trinket (aka Trinky, Trin, Trinny, Minnie Trinny, Trinketta, the list is endless), is an adorable 2-3 year old bichon who was recently released from a breeding facility. Trinny is one of those dogs that makes your heart grow three sizes. She’s happy, insanely sweet and quietly discovering that life can actually be pretty awesome! With that said, Trin is still learning to trust people, so she needs an adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She loves her people and does the cutest little happy dance when she sees you but in the beginning that’s from a distance. Fortunately treats are a very quick way to Trinny’s heart. Trinket is much more confident with dogs than people, so having another playful, confident canine companion is a must. She thrives in the company of other dogs and is currently living with 2 bichons and 2 pitties. Her favorite thing is to zoom – zoom – zoom in the yard with her foster sibs. Trinket is what we call a flight risk. She will dash at every opportunity with an open door or fence. She startles easily and isn’t comfortable pottying on leash yet. A physically fenced in yard is a must – along with a safety plan, including baby gates, for all entryways into/out of the home. We know fences aren’t everyone’s favorite requirement, but this one isn’t negotiable. This is what’s best for Trin, period. Trinket is crate trained but she does like to voice her opinion when she’s first left alone, thankfully her little protest speeches are short-lived. If you share walls with your neighbors, it’s something to keep in mind. She hasn’t been cat tested yet but we’re happy to do that for the right applicant. We can’t imagine there’d be an issue but we can confirm. Trinket is spayed, had her teefs cleaned, UTD on everything, on preventatives and microchipped. She has a grade 2 heart murmur. It doesn’t require any treatment at this time, but your veterinarian should monitor it during her annual checkups to make sure it doesn’t progress. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend who just needs a little patience, a canine buddy and a whole lot of love, Trinket may be the little treasure you’ve been waiting for. Please visit our website, zoeshouserescue.com to apply today. *Please note: Trinket is being fostered in Levittown,PA. A separate meet and greet with potential adopters and all resident pets is required prior to final approval. Kennel License 9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608

Story
Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for dogs who need a little extra understanding, Talia could be your girl 💗 Apply to adopt Talia here: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoe’s House Rescue
