Munchkin is a squatty little pekinese mix female. She came to us as a neglected stray and has been going thru vetting and medical care. She was heartworm positive and has had some heart issues. We are controlling this with lasix and pimobendan. She has started heartworm treatment and will soon be done with her medical. She is spayed. Munchkin is a scrappy little thing and can be very alpha with other dogs, however she lives in a houseful of them. She is kenneled for periods of time and is ok with that. Story
Edna Crabapple was her name when she was at Memphis Animal Shelter. Edna is about six years old and is probably a Lhasa apso mix. She now weighs 18 lbs, she has gained quite a bit since her rescue. Edna was a bit snappy at the shelter. You have to earn her trust. She is happy in her foster home but stays to herself a lot. She loves her crate and getting two square meals a day. She came to us with hardly any hair from neglect and poor nutrition; she was Heartworm positive. Edna has been treated for the heartworms and grown back her hair. Once she knows you she comes out to be petted. She needs to go to an adult home. Her adoption fee is $200 After reading this pet's info, if you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the online adoption application found at realgooddogrescue.com The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard.
