Story
Meet Sonny, the 16 Week Old Corgi/Carolina Mix With the Sweetest Routine Sonny is a 16 week old male Corgi/Carolina mix weighing 30 pounds and packed with playful, puppy energy. He loves to romp, explore, and play with his siblings, but he also has the cutest little habit that sets him apart. He is going through his teething so if you have toddlers, please take this into consideration for awhile. He is working on not chewing on his humans! He will need lots of chew toys to keep himself entertained and would love to have a 4 legged brother or sister who wants to play! When he’s done for the day, Sonny is done. He is always the first to put himself to bed at night, curling up and settling in while everyone else is still bouncing around. It’s the sweetest thing to watch and shows just how smart and self-regulated this boy already is. Energetic, adorable, and full of personality, Sonny is the perfect mix of fun and easygoing. He’s ready for a family who will appreciate his playful spirit and his precious bedtime routine. This little guy is a gem. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Ginny, a young adult (approx. 2 years old) spayed female Corgi mix, weighing about 45 lbs!  Ginny is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 2/21. We are accepting applications on her now!  Ginny is a sweet girl who loves her people, she will happily follow you around and is an excellent cuddler! She also loves car rides and would be thrilled to join you on adventures! While she does ok meeting other dogs, Ginny can be dog selective (she was surrendered by her previous owner due to not getting along with one of the other dogs in the home). She has done well with the other dogs in her TN foster home, however we feel that she would be happiest as an only dog. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.  Ginny loves people and is a friendly girl but as a young herding breed, we recommend older kids 10+ (as she may try to herd small children). She thrives in a calm home and would love nothing more than to be the center of your attention! Ginny is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2647740##
