She thrives on human attention and affection, and her sweet, goofy nature will have you smiling all day long. But when it comes to other pets? She prefers to be the queen of her castle. Aloy is currently working on her dog-to-dog skills, but she’ll do best as your one and only fur-child. She’s crate trained, altered, and smart as a whip—especially when treats are involved. Allie is learning commands like “sit” and working hard on leash manners (yes, she pulls like she’s in the Iditarod, but we’re getting there!). Because Allie does show some resource guarding and is still learning polite behavior, she needs an experienced adopter who can continue to guide her with structure and patience. We know that their heritage includes German Shepherd, and are guessing Catahoula.
