Story
Meet Carys, a 7-month-old Pembroke Corgi with a sweet soul and a curious heart. Carys is a very social, friendly girl who enjoys meeting new people and making canine friends wherever she goes. She does great with other dogs and is wonderful with children.   Carys is crate trained and doing well with both leash and potty training. She rides nicely in the car, is normally pretty quiet for a young pup, and is not destructive in the home. She loves to explore her surroundings and would thrive in a home that encourages her curiosity while continuing her training and socialization.   Carys is an easygoing, affectionate pup who is still learning about the world and would make a fantastic companion for an active family or individual looking for a well-rounded young dog to grow with.   Adoption Application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic ##2648711##

Story
Meet George! 🐾 George is a senior Pembroke Corgi with a big heart and an even bigger personality—he’s 47 pounds of pure love! This goofy, affectionate guy loves to communicate, explore at his own pace, and is motivated by food (treats are his love language). George is altered, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for the right home. He is house-trained and has a sweet, protective nature, though he can show some resource guarding, so he will do best with an experienced adopter who understands his cues and gives him the space he needs. Recently, George was diagnosed with advanced arthritis in his shoulders and front legs, so his mobility is limited to short walks in the backyard and around a few rooms in the house. Despite this, George remains curious, affectionate, and ready to enjoy life—he’s a master of snuggles, slow strolls, and plenty of goofy smiles. George would thrive in a calm, patient home that can accommodate his arthritis and appreciate the charm of a senior dog who just wants love, comfort, and a full belly. If you’re ready to give this sweet, quirky Corgi the retirement he deserves, George would love to meet you! ❤️

Story
Meet Disco — a gentle, shy Corgi boy with the sweetest wiggle butt around 🐶✨ Disco came to NTASR from a puppy mill situation, so he’s still learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and at home. Because of that rough start, he can be a little timid at first — but every day he’s gaining confidence and showing just how special he is. Disco is puppy pad trained (about 95% accurate!) and has even started going potty outside when the weather allows — he’s only been in foster care about a week and has already made great progress (even through a freeze!). He does wonderfully with cats, completely ignoring his two feline foster siblings, and he loves kids — especially when they run around and chase him (it brings out his playful side and that famous Corgi wiggle butt!). Disco isn’t a big cuddler since he gets warm easily, but he absolutely loves attention and being near his people. He has an overall chill, quiet demeanor and is a joy to have around. He’s just beginning to find his bark when he hears unfamiliar noises or people, showing a little protective instinct as he settles in. He’s also discovering treats (and eats them very slowly — it’s adorable 🥹). Disco is affectionate, gentle, goofy, curious, playful, and calm — with so much potential as he continues learning about the world. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Disco is going to make an incredible companion and a truly amazing pet. 💙

Story
Meet Falco 🐾⚡ Corgi mix | DOB November 2025 | Double Merle | Deaf Falco is the sweetest, sneakiest little corgi you’ll ever meet. He plays hard. He cuddles harder. And when he trots across the room with those bouncy ears flopping, you can’t help but smile. He just wants to be included in whatever you’re doing — even if that “whatever” is supervised mischief. Let’s be honest: he is very much a puppy. There are razor teeth in that adorable mouth and mischief in that tiny body. But there’s also a whole lot of heart. Falco came to us as an owner surrender and is a double merle, which means he is deaf. But here’s the beautiful part — deaf dogs do AMAZING with hand signals, routine, and positive reinforcement. They are incredibly attentive, visually focused, and deeply bonded to their people. Falco is already learning that communication doesn’t have to be heard to be understood. He’s making great progress every day. He’s still unsure about car rides, but he’s working on building confidence. He happily goes into his crate with a small treat and sleeps through the night like a champ. Smart boy behavior. Falco would thrive in a home that: Embraces puppy energy Is committed to positive, consistent training Understands (or is willing to learn about) living with a deaf dog Wants a playful sidekick who will keep life interesting He is equal parts chaos gremlin and snuggle bug. Zoom first. Nap later. Repeat. If you’re ready for a joyful, clever, special little corgi who just needs someone to show him the world in a way he can see and feel — Falco is ready to be your adventure buddy. 💙

Story
Meet Nala Jean — your future adventure buddy and professional cuddle champion 🐶💖 Nala Jean is an estimated 2-year-old Corgi mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. She’s altered, crate trained, puppy pad trained, and great with other dogs — basically a total rockstar roommate. This girl is affectionate to her core and truly just wants love. She’s incredibly gentle and friendly with both people and pups, and everyone who meets her falls head over heels for her (it’s kind of her superpower). Nala Jean loves to run and explore and is still working on leash training — so she’ll make a fun companion for walks, adventures, and learning new things together. She’s doing great with potty training and uses puppy pads, though she may have the occasional happy accident when she gets extra excited (because life is just that fun sometimes!). At night, she sleeps peacefully in her crate or in her own little “room” without making a peep. If you’re looking for a confident, loving, quirky sweetheart who will shower you with affection and be your loyal sidekick, Nala Jean might just be your perfect match. 🥰

Story
Meet Aloy (aka Allie) 🐾 📍 4-Year-Old Aussie Mix | Athletic & Affectionate | Needs to Be Your One and Only Aloy is a gorgeous, independent girl who’s head-over-paws in love with people! She thrives on human attention and affection, and her sweet, goofy nature will have you smiling all day long. But when it comes to other pets? She prefers to be the queen of her castle. Aloy is currently working on her dog-to-dog skills, but she’ll do best as your one and only fur-child. She’s crate trained, altered, and smart as a whip—especially when treats are involved. Allie is learning commands like “sit” and working hard on leash manners (yes, she pulls like she’s in the Iditarod, but we’re getting there!). Because Allie does show some resource guarding and is still learning polite behavior, she needs an experienced adopter who can continue to guide her with structure and patience. She’s not a fit for homes with other pets, but she is great with kids who respect boundaries. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who’ll always greet you with tail wags and big energy, Allie’s ready to be your girl. 🐶💪❤️ Apply at ntxaussierescue.org/
