Story
Morty is a six-year old corgi with a lot of love to give. We are heartbroken to make this listing, but he has not adjusted well to the addition of a new baby. We picked up Morty as an eight week old puppy and he truly is our first baby. We are looking for a loving family who can help him live out the rest of his life. The ideal fit has older kids (middle school and up), empty nesters, or experienced dog owners who understand the needs of herding dogs. He needs to be the only pet as we like to say he’s got big dog energy in a little dog’s body. He loves a good walk, chasing squirrels in the yard, playing chase, give kisses, and is the biggest cuddle bug. He is very food motivated and loves a good bed snuggle. Morty’s weak selling points are that he is food possessive and leash reactive. We’ve managed it with training and he has worked with an e-collar. We hope to find the right fit for our special boy. He is a loyal pack dog and has a lot of love to give.

Story
Shadow Ogami is a very handsome, energetic, adorable, funny pup. He turned a year old last October. He is a Pembroke Corgi from Ellensgber,WA., we drove through a snow storm to bring him home and it was amazing. He is a sweetheart. We want to find a good home with someone that can match his awesomeness. He is very energetic, curious sometimes mischievous pup ,he loves attention and interaction in general. He loves people, adventures and water, this boy absolutely enjoys being in the water, beach, lake, water and mud puddles , BATHS!! You name it. We want him to have the best happy, life that he deserves. Our hearts are broken about this but because we love him so much we know that the responsible most loving thing to do it's to find a lovely family that can give me what we sadly can't.

Story
Samwise, affectionately called Sammy, may have started life as a stray, but his story is really about loyalty, heart, and second chances. Found wandering with his brother Pippin, these two young adventurers had only each other as they navigated the world. Now safe and cared for, Sammy is ready to find the family who will be his true fellowship. Sammy has a gentle, thoughtful personality and tends to be a little more observant than his playful brother. He enjoys taking in the world around him, watching what’s happening, and then happily joining in once he feels comfortable. Once Sammy bonds with you, he shows just how deeply devoted he can be. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly stay by your side, happy just to be near his people. Like any young dog, Sammy still has plenty of playful moments. He enjoys toys, time outside, and spending time with other dogs. He does well with canine friends and would love a home where he can continue building confidence and enjoying life with a buddy. Sammy is crate trained and learning his basic manners, and with patience and consistency he will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Just like the Samwise of Lord of the Rings, Sammy represents the best kind of friend—steady, loyal, and always ready to stand beside the ones he loves. All he needs now is a home where he can put down roots and share that loyalty for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a dog with a big heart and a calm, devoted nature, Sammy might be the perfect addition to your family. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Meet Kiri 🐾 A 3-year-old female Jindo–Welsh Corgi mix, affectionately known as a true short queen with her adorable little legs. She weighs around 10 kilos, making her the perfect compact companion. Kiri’s story is one of second chances. She was transferred to Dream Tails after facing euthanasia at a city shelter in Korea, and she’s now ready to begin a new chapter with a family of her own. Kiri loves people and thrives on affection. She enjoys being close, soaking up attention, and curling up for cuddles — her fur is wonderfully soft and comforting. She walks nicely on leash and gets along well with other dogs, making her an easy companion both at home and out on walks. Kiri may not have lived in a home before, so her future family should be prepared to gently guide her through potty training and daily routines. As she adjusts, she might show a bit of puppy mischief, which is completely normal for a dog learning about indoor life. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she’ll settle in beautifully. Kiri has a medium energy level, meaning she enjoys daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation — but she’s just as happy relaxing and cuddling afterward. Are you ready to welcome this short queen into your heart and home?

Story
Hi, my name is Eunsong 🤍🐾 I’m a female Mini Jindo–Welsh Corgi mix, about 5 years old, and I weigh around 13kg (29 lbs). With my short little legs and round, sturdy body, people often find themselves smiling the moment they see me. I’m gentle, calm, and affectionate — the kind of dog who feels like she was born to be someone’s perfect companion. I truly love people and get along well with other dogs too. When you pet me, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly, asking for more love. I express affection easily, and because I trust people and stay calm, I naturally help others feel relaxed and comfortable from our very first meeting — like a small angel quietly walking into your life. I’m also wonderful on walks. I don’t pull on the leash, and even in new environments, I walk confidently while enjoying my surroundings. I’m not easily frightened, so I adapt fairly quickly to unfamiliar places, making every walk peaceful and enjoyable. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia and spent time in a foster home, where I learned what family life feels like. Later, due to changes in circumstances, I moved to a training center. Thanks to my previous home experience, I adjusted to the new environment relatively quickly, and I continue to get along well with both people and other dogs here. While potty routines may not have been perfectly maintained in shelter or training environments, I have lived in a home before. With my future family, I’m expected to quickly settle back into a steady daily routine. My ideal family is one who gives love generously, values quiet companionship, and is ready to warmly continue a shared life at home with me. If I meet that family, I promise to give back unwavering trust, a deep sense of comfort and stability, and endless love 🤍

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Bandit from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 6 month old  male Corgi mix.  I weigh approximately 24 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
