Story
I acquired my pet from a ex-roommate who decided to abandon the pet as they are moving overseas. The pet had previous health issues and they were going to bring it to the kill shelter but I thought it was best to find the pet a suitable home. It is originally from Houston TX. I’m looking for someone who can tend to his medical needs as he seems to be in a lot of pain but always puts up a smile. He is goofy, loving, and really loves to cuddle. Looking for caring people for Bobby

Story
Meet Tayo🚗 Tayo had spent quite a long time at the Gimje City Shelter. More and more dogs were being admitted into the shelter, and the risk of euthanasia grew so Tayo was rescued. * With People: Accepts petting and enjoys it so much that he was named Tayo (meaning “likes touch.”) Isn’t shy and shows affection even to new people. * With Dogs: Initially got along well with the other dogs at the Center, but has recently showed annoyance at them so more observation is needed to see if he can live with other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Currently living at the Center, so it’s unknown if he has separation anxiety. May need training if he lives in a home environment. * Potty Training: 100% outdoor potty as he currently lives at the Center. * Grooming: Likes being brushed and stays still! * Walks: Very good at walks and walks in step with his handler. * Car Sickness: Has no carsickness and does well in cars. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, being treated for heartworm

Story
TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Corgi Dachshund mix (we think) and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

This spunky pup loves to play, snuggle, and soak up all the love from their favorite humans. You may have seen his story featured on Facebook, he is healed and ready to start his new life. Pepe is not a fan other dogs, he is looking for a home where he can be the only furry companion he is also not a fan of feline friends. Pepe weighs 26 pounds. While in foster we have discovered that Pepe will need an adult only home and is not a fan of children.

Story
Say hello to Oliver, a charming 4-year-old Corgi with a personality as big as his ears! Oliver is a Bluie—a rare and beautiful color variation that gives him a soft, silvery-blue hue instead of the traditional black. He’s playful, smart, and fiercely loyal to his people. When he’s not showing off his silly side, Oliver is happiest snuggled up close, soaking in all the cuddles he can get. Oliver would thrive in a home where he’s the only pet—he likes to be the center of attention and isn’t comfortable around other dogs. He would also do best in a calm, adult household or a family with children over the age of 5 who can respect his space and boundaries. This little guy is crate trained, potty trained, has been through basic obedience and is ready to bring joy and laughter to the right forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a lot of heart, Oliver might just be your perfect match. (100% of rehoming fee will be donated to The NOAH Center in Stanwood).

Story
Quick Facts Name: Sunhee (Sunny)  Age: 6 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix Color: White & Beige Weight: 9 kg (approx. 20 lbs)    All About Me Hi there! My name is Sunny, and just like my name, I bring warmth and happiness wherever I go. I’m an easygoing pup with a friendly nature. I adore people, whether they’re familiar faces or new friends. I might not be the type to jump into your lap right away, but give me a little time, and I’ll happily stay by your side, following you around and keeping you company.   My Personality I’m a social butterfly who enjoys meeting both people and dogs. I greet everyone with a wagging tail and am always ready to make new friends. While I don’t always seek out cuddles, I love being near my humans and will often curl up close to them. Occasionally, I’ll climb onto the bed and give you gentle kisses to show my affection. I have a calm and gentle nature—I don’t bark at delivery people or strangers, and I’ve never shown aggression toward people or other dogs. I’m also quite adaptable and naturally fall into my family’s routine, whether that means relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure.   On My Walks I enjoy my walks and love sniffing around to take in all the interesting scents. Sometimes, I get so caught up in exploring that I stop and start frequently, but overall, I walk well on a leash. I prefer doing my business outdoors, so I appreciate getting outside 2-3 times a day.   Life at Home I’m a quiet and well-mannered housemate. I rarely bark, except when I’m extra excited about mealtime! I’m still learning basic commands, but I now recognize my name and can sit when asked—especially if treats are involved. Other commands like “down” or “paw” are new to me, but with a little patience, I’m sure I can learn. Bath time? No problem! I handle it well. Loud noises, like vacuum cleaners or hair dryers, can be a bit scary, but if you give me some space, I’ll sit calmly while you dry me off. I’m still getting used to being picked up or sitting on laps, but I don’t mind gentle touches. You can even stroke my ears or tail, and I’ll stay relaxed.    My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving home where I can continue to blossom. Here’s what would make me happiest: A family who enjoys daily walks – Since I prefer outdoor potty breaks, regular walks are important for me. A calm environment – I’m not a high-energy dog, so a peaceful home where I can relax and feel safe would be perfect.   Last Message If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog who will quietly follow you around and brighten your days, I’d love to meet you. Let’s create happy memories together!   Good with other dogs: Yes Good with kids:  Yes House-trained:  Yes Energy level: Medium Leash trained: Yes Barking: Minimal Car travel: Good   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_I4XSgIKjQ&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jzmq_Vi764pw8n6Pk_gFYYW ##2300944##

Story
Meet Kira, a 2-year-old spayed female Welsh Corgi mix with a beautiful brown and white coat, weighing in at 7.2 kg. She was rescued alongside her sibling Kitty, and while Kitty found her forever home in Toronto last October, Kira had a bit of a detour. She was placed in a foster home in Korea under the assumption she’d be adopted locally, but things didn’t work out, so now she’s looking for her forever family overseas. Kira can be a little shy at first, but win her over with some treats and she’ll be your new best friend in no time. Once she’s comfortable, she’s the ultimate sweetheart—she’ll follow her favorite person around, roll over to show her belly, and gently ask for pets. In familiar, cozy environments, Kira isn’t afraid to walk right up to new people and say hello. But in unfamiliar or overwhelming spaces, she sometimes retreats under chairs and prefers to watch the world go by from a safe little hideaway. Some days she’s full of confidence, and other days she might need a little more time to warm up—she’s looking for a family with patience and love to help her continue to blossom. When it comes to other dogs, Kira is polite and curious. She’ll go up to greet new doggy friends, but she’s not much of a playmate—she prefers to keep things calm. If another dog is too forward, she might give a little growl to set a boundary. She tends to do best with dogs her own size and finds high-energy pups a bit overwhelming. In social settings, she prefers quiet spaces with a few dogs over crowded, busy environments. Kira hasn't lived with cats before, but she can be tested if needed. Her energy level is generally low—she loves relaxing and taking it easy indoors, but she does perk up and get more playful outside. She walks nicely on leash without pulling and tends to stick close to her person. However, when she encounters something scary, she may freeze and flatten herself to the ground. She does have a few quirks: nail trims are a no-go (she’ll definitely protest!), she gets carsick easily and is frightened of car rides, and she can be overwhelmed in crowded areas and may try to hide. Her temperament can shift between days where she’s braver and days where she’s more timid, so she needs a family that’s okay with that gentle back-and-forth. Kira does *not* have separation anxiety—in fact, she enjoys some solo playtime when no one’s around! She needs to be carried into the car due to her fear, prefers doing her business outside, and is impressively quiet—no barking here! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a gentle soul who just needs a bit of time to shine, Kira might be the perfect pup for you. Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Bandit from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 6 month old  male Corgi mix.  I weigh approximately 24 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
