Story
Looking for a responsible, loving, and active home for Cloe. She is a husky mix that requires daily walks and a certain level of stimulation or playtime (she loves playing with the ball). She is very friendly with people, including strangers, and gets along well with children. She was found abandoned, tied up, 10 kilos, and with TVT (transmissible venereal tumor) in a vacant lot in México. She is currently doing well, living with two dogs and a cat. Her coat has recovered, and she weighs approximately 14-15 kilos (she is medium-sized). She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and deworming, and while the TVT was treated and she is cleared, she will require a follow-up appointment in three months as recommended by the veterinarian. She has made great progress in socializing with other dogs and cats, but we need to continue working on introducing her to new dogs, especially when they enter her space, and on protecting resources from other dogs (toys, food).

Story
Laika is a gentle, sweet 55-lb husky. She rarely barks, is food-motivated, and warms up quickly to people. She can be left on her own and rarely gets into mischief. Belly rubs are her very favorite. We adopted Laika in April, but the urban environment we live in is very stressful for her.We adore Laika, but she needs a home with a quiet yard. Her yard will need a secure fence as she chases critters. Laika doesn’t get along well with dogs indoors for now and so should be the only pet in the household. She isn’t reactive towards dogs she sees on walks or outside. Laika is untested with kids, but older children would likely be fine. We are looking for owners who are committed to communicating via positive reinforcement, patience, and support rather than force or punishment. She can’t be left in a locked crate as this is deeply distressing for her. Our trainer has been excellent and has offered a complimentary one-hour consultation with her new family, either before or after adoption.

Story
Rescued him from Seattle animal shelter a little over 6 months ago. He hasn’t chewed anything on my house at all. Is potty trained. I’ve been working on crate training him but he needs a little more time. Overall he is a really good dog but just has some things he needs help working on. I’ve got some health issues that are making it too difficult to care for him so sadly I have to give him up. He’s so lovable. And could be such a good fit for the right person.
