Story
Hi I’m Maggie! I lived outdoors as a stray for over 2 years. My feeder noticed how calm and tame I was and after seeing me curling up on the concrete sidewalk to sleep out in the open, oblivious to the dangers - she decided it was time to bring me home. I am super sweet and love being pet, one of my favorite things to do is to rub against your legs and roll onto my back at your feet. I am a pretty chill cat but will go crazy for wet food and treats! I do really well with other cats and rabbits. I would love to have another kitty sibling, but would do fine as an only pet if my humans are home a lot. A quiet, all adult home is where I'll be happiest.  I am really curious about windows and doors and will try to sneak out so will need to go to a home with NO dogs or young children. Please be vigilant about watching for me while leaving and entering the house. My foster mom usually had to use an object to block me when she would open the front door. I’m so cute though that it’s worth the extra care! I’m up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $80.January 25, 2026, 2:40 pm

NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Please copy the link below to schedule your appointment for Monday and Tuesday. https://foothillsanimalrescue.as.me/schedule/e47d5799Hi there! I’m Lucy Lu, a sweet little tortie kitty with a soft coat of beautiful colors. I was found outside with my best friend, Bootsy Boo. We’ve been through a lot together, and I’m so happy to have someone like him by my side. I might be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’ll be your best friend! I love being petted – it makes me feel so special and loved. I may take a little time to adjust to new things, but I promise that with patience, I’ll be the most affectionate little companion. I’m looking for a calm and loving home where I can feel safe and cherished. If you have room in your heart (and lap) for me, I would love to meet you! Just be gentle, and we’ll have a bond that will last forever. P.S. Bootsy Boo and I would love to stay together if we can, but if not, I’m sure we’ll both find wonderful homes!

Story
I’m Magritte, I’m five years old. I don’t know where I was born or exactly when, but I grew up in a house with 130 other cats. It was pretty crowded and sometimes there were scuffles, usually over food. The man that lived there with us fed us but it seemed like there was never enough.  He tried to show us all love but I think there were just too many of us.  So after a while I got a bit skittish.  I’m not sure what all happened, but when I was two years old, a stranger came into the house. There was a lot of yelling, and a few days later a bunch of strangers showed up with traps and started taking us out of the house.  There were a few confusing days when I didn’t know where I was, and then I found myself in a large room with a few cats I recognized from where I had been taken from.  I was skittish of the humans at first- but they fed me delicious food, introduced me to toys, and brought me treats and cat condos to climb ( I really love those).  It took some time for all of us to calm down and get used to being there, in a space where there was room for all of us, always food to eat, clean water to drink, and plenty of love. When I see my foster mom now, I hop down from the cat tree I like to perch in and come running to her to rub against her and get pets. I’m still a little reluctant to be picked up and held, but I adore pets and scritches and attention.  I still startle at loud noises and sudden movements sometimes, and I’m still cautious around new people but I’m hoping there is someone out there who will be patient with me, because I have a lot of love to give.  I’m spayed, dewormed, felv/fiv negative, up to date on all my shots, microchipped, and ready for my forever home.  My adoption fee is $80.November 10, 2025, 10:19 am
