Story
Meet Bernie, a 12-year-old persian sweetheart. We brought her home about six months ago after falling in love with her “grumpy grandma” charm. We were told she had no medical issues beyond normal breed related sensitivities, and we were excited to give a senior cat a loving home. Soon after adopting her, we discovered that Bernie actually has chronic skin issues that require ongoing management and a predictable, low-stress environment. We’ve worked with multiple vets and she is currently on treatment, but her condition needs a level of consistency and daily care that we simply cannot provide with our schedules and lifestyle. We adore her and truly hoped to be her forever home, but the most loving choice is to help her find someone better suited to meet her long-term needs. She would thrive in a calm home with someone who has experience with senior or special-needs cats, or someone who has the time and patience to continue her skin care routine.

Story
Moo is a big, sweet, domestic longhair senior cat who absolutely adores people and attention, happily soaking up every bit of brushing, petting, and conversation he can get. He came into our care in June 2025, severely matted and underweight due to untreated diabetes, yet even in that condition he remained incredibly gentle and loving. Now cleaned up, gaining weight, and feeling much better on a consistent prescription diet, Moo continues to thrive; he will need a signed medical release from his new owners, and we will provide the prescription for his special diabetic food to support his ongoing care. Though he often relaxes in cat houses or on soft blankets and may appear a little shy at first, he never hesitates to walk right out with a soft meow the moment he sees a friendly human. If you’re looking for a warm, affectionate companion with a resilient spirit and endless love to give, Moo is ready to melt your heart. Moo's adoption fee is donation based (choose your price) which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, de-worm, flea treatment, and microchip ID. If you are interested in Moo, please submit a cat adoption application at www.valleyanimal.org

Story
I am trying to rehome our cat Baxter. He is a seven-year-old male and one of the most friendliest loving cats I’ve ever had. He’s a long-haired cat and as cute as can be. Baxter is also really good with children and incredibly patient and friendly. Our cat has never been unfriendly to anybody and as a matter of fact, always welcome strangers and people that may come over. Unfortunately, I am being challenged with a very difficult decision of rehoming Baxter because I have stage four ovarian cancer, and I have been told by my doctor that I should not have him living inside the house. Unfortunately, I’m not willing to put him outside because he only knows living inside the house. Also, we live in the country and I’m afraid that he may be harmed living outside with The amount of coyotes and harmful animals living out there. If you are interested in seeing Baxter or meeting him, please don’t hesitate to contact me.Owner`s Contact Information Email Address: 2gassett@comcast.net Phone Number: 559-930-1466
