Franklin is shy, but open to getting comfortable with new people. He is sweet, loves getting scratches and does well with other cats. His age is an estimate, but our vets think he's likely on the senior side. We'd love to find Franklin a home where he can spend his golden years!  Please note; Franklin tested positive for FIV. That being said, he can live a normal life, but it is necessary that he is the only cat in the home or with other cats who are also positive. Henry is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who would love nothing more than to be someone’s little companion. He is super cuddly and loves giving and receiving affection. If you’re looking for a cat who genuinely wants to be close to his person, Henry is your guy. At bedtime, Henry loves to curl up right next to you and sleep by your side. And when you come home, you can expect him to be there to greet you with happy purrs and plenty of love. Henry does have one important medical need: he eats a prescription diet and will need to remain on his prescription food for the rest of his life. His future family will need to be comfortable continuing that diet to keep him healthy. Harley is aptly named, a vocal feline that, once she loves you, will snuggle and give sandpaper kisses. We have all her food, treats, and favorite toys and blanket, you will need to provide a litter box.

Sammy is a handsome 13-year-old orange-and-white Maine Coon mix who first entered Kitty Devore Rescue as a kitten and was adopted in February 2014. After more than twelve years in the only home he had known, Sammy returned to KD foster care and began an entirely new chapter of his life. Despite such a major change, he surprised everyone by adjusting with remarkable ease and resilience. He is in excellent health for his age, with recent bloodwork within normal limits and only slight arthritis in one hip. He remains active, mobile, and looks and acts much younger than his years. Sammy is an intelligent, confident, affectionate gentleman who knows what he likes and isn't shy about politely asking for it. His favorite things include tube treats, cheek scratches, naps, and watching the world go by through the window. He seeks out his foster mom when he wants food or affection and is wonderfully cooperative about being picked up for nail trims and brushing. He has impeccable litter box habits, keeps himself tidy, and respects the furniture. After spending most of his life as an only cat, Sammy now shares his foster home with cats and a dog. He tolerates his foster siblings well and generally prefers to mind his own business, although he appreciates having his personal space respected. Because Sammy is much more interested in people than other animals, we believe he would be happiest as someone's one-and-only kitty or with another calm cat who will respect his desire for peace and quiet. Sammy has already proven that 13 is simply a number. He is healthy, handsome, loving, self-assured, and ready to find the family who will appreciate everything this exceptional senior boy has to offer.
