Story
Male nine months old. All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate.  Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for.  Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label. We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application.   NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten. ##2751830##

Story
Jameel is a handsome male cat, about 2½ years old, with a big personality and an even bigger heart for people. He is incredibly friendly, bonds quickly, and truly loves his humans. Once he chooses you, you’re his person. Jameel thrives on human attention and enjoys being part of your daily life. He loves to play, stays active, and brings a lot of joy and energy into the home. He’s confident, affectionate, and happiest when he’s getting one-on-one attention. Because Jameel does not get along with other cats and will fight with them, he needs a home where he can be the only pet. In the right environment—without other animals—he will flourish and be a devoted companion. If you’re looking for a cat who loves people, adapts quickly, and wants to be your one-and-only, Jameel may be the perfect match for you. All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate.  Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Special Needs, Urgent  This 5-month-old special boy has cerebellar hypoplasia. This most likely happened due to a viral Infection his mom had while she was pregnant with him. There are different degrees of this condition, and unfortunately, Fluffy has a more severe form.  The cerebellum supports coordination, as you can see when he walks, plays, and eats . He can live a long, normal life, and this condition does not typically affect other parts of his body. He can walk with a little difficulty, but boy does he get around! He loves to be with his human, and has grown fond of one of the other cats in the house (it did take him a long time to warm up to him). He’s not one to jump up on things and should not be left alone on high surfaces. He eats dry food well on his own and drinks water on his own, although sometimes he needs a little help. He is very good at asking when he needs help by giving a sweet meow! I do help him with the canned food that he eats twice a day in under 5 min! He did not take well to a litter box so we have compromised with pee pads with a dedicated area, and he knows to go potty in that space. He is full of spunk and personality and loves to make muffins in his bed with one of the loudest purrs I’ve heard. He would make a very special companion for someone who understands he needs more TLC than your average kitten. Neutered and up to date on vaccines  As always with litters, applications for two or more kittens will take priority. Story
Meet Binx, a stunning all-black long-haired boy who is just under 2 years old! Binx is fully vetted, healthy, and litter box trained. He has the sweetest personality and absolutely loves affection - he purrs like crazy when being pet, gives adorable head butts, and even wraps his fluffy tail around your neck like a hug. Binx has lived comfortably with two large dogs and another cat, so he would likely do well in a home with other pets. He is gentle, loving, affectionate, and ready to find a forever family to spoil him with attention and cuddles. Binx was born around August 8, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.June 26, 2026, 1:55 pm

Story
Stella is a petite, gorgeous long-haired sweetheart. At 8 years old, she was surrendered due to heartbreaking circumstances that were completely beyond her control. Despite the changes in her life, Stella remains bright, outgoing, and full of love. She enjoys perching on top of things where she can observe everything around her like the little queen she is. Stella has a gentle, affectionate nature and would love a calm home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored again and not replaced by another pet.
