Leo is curious, smart, playful and he likes to be up high at times. He is a large 5 yr old Tuxeto cat, 12 lbs, but not overweight. He is affectionate but not a cuddler. He will let me pick him up but not for long periods of time. He enjoys the screenroom. Last year, Leo was running down the hall full speed and slid into the wall causing a hematoma on his left ear. The vet did not lance it (to minimize stressing him) so now his ear flops a bit.I rescued him after Hurricane Ian and in his previous home he lived well with children, cats and dogs. However in the 4 years I've had him it has just been him and me. I'm traveling a lot and he gets stressed when left alone for extended periods even with sitters coming in twice a day. He's not "needy", he just doesn't like being alone for extended periods of time. If someone is here overnight he is fine. He is on a prescription diet. I cannot afford full time sitters. It is not fair to him. He deserves a loving, more consistent home.
