Meet Gerti! 🖤🐾 Gerti is a sleek, dark black-and-brown tortie with stunning golden eyes that will capture your heart. At 6 years old, this beautiful Domestic Shorthair is looking for a special person who can offer her a quiet, understanding home. Gerti is grieving the loss of her first owner and is still learning how to navigate such a significant change in her life. Because of this, she will need time, patience, and space to adjust to her new surroundings. She may be reserved at first, but don't let that fool you. Once Gerti realizes she is safe and can trust you, her affectionate and outgoing personality begins to shine. She would do best in a calm household where her adopter understands that building a bond takes time. For the person willing to let Gerti move at her own pace, the reward will be a loyal companion who truly appreciates the love and kindness she receives. If you're looking for a gorgeous, mature cat who just needs a second chance and a gentle heart to help her heal, Gerti may be the perfect match for you. ❤️ Age: 6 years old Breed: Domestic Shorthair Personality: Gentle, quiet, affectionate once comfortable Ideal Home: Calm, patient, and understanding household Adoption Fees: Fully covered by the Wilson Family
