Pumpkin is a beautiful long-haired girl with a diva personality and gorgeous black fur that truly deserves to be pampered. Pictures simply don’t do her justice. While she may look glamorous, Pumpkin is also a senior girl who deserves to spend her golden years in the comfort of a loving home. Pumpkin can be very sweet and affectionate once she trusts you. She enjoys attention, head scratches, and brushing, but always on her own terms. She’s the kind of cat who appreciates someone who understands her boundaries, respects her cues, and lets her take the lead. In return, you’ll earn the trust of a loyal companion with plenty of personality. She received a lion’s cut after arriving with some matting, and she’s feeling much more comfortable now. Now that her beautiful dark coat has grown back in she’ll need a home committed to helping maintain her luxurious fur with gentle grooming and patience. Pumpkin would do best in a calmer home and is not the biggest fan of other cats or dogs. Older children who can understand and respect her signals may be okay for her.
