Story
Pumpkin is a sweet 9 year old girl looking for her forever home. She started out a bit shy, but now she comes right to the front of her kennel for love, pets and good head scratches. She’s soft, gentle, and would truly thrive with someone who has a calm, kind demeanor...the perfect companion for quiet company. Pumpkin recently got a lion’s cut after arriving with some matting, as her previous owner didn’t have the time to keep up with brushing. She’s feeling so much better now, and we can’t wait to see her beautiful dark fur grow back in. If you’d like to meet Pumpkin, please make an appointment and fill out an application online. She’s ready for her second chance.

Story
At 14 years old, Eenie is a timid lady with a dignified presence. She was quite shy when she first arrived, but she’s slowly beginning to come out of her shell. She shares her space with Diamond, a sweet boy who absolutely adores her. He shows it with enthusiastic head bonks, and while Eenie pretends to be unimpressed, she knows it’s only because she’s gorgeous and hard to resist. Eenie’s long, beautiful coat means she’ll need a bit of pampering, but she knows she’s worth the extra care. She came from a home with many cats, and was described as feral or unsocialized, but here at the rescue we’ve learned she’s simply shy. With time, patience, and a calm environment, she may become even more comfortable. She doesn’t mind other gentle cats, but she would truly thrive in a quiet home with no dogs or children. And if possible, she thinks Diamond should come along. You’d probably like him, everyone does, and she doesn’t want him to miss her for the rest of his life. Eenie is ready for a peaceful, loving home where she can feel safe and adored.

Story
My family found Sora as a stray in 2017. She is 10 years old. I am having to rehome her due to her being unable to get along with my other older cats. There’s a lot more to the story that I can’t really fit in here. Sora would be best suited as an only cat or with one other cat. She loves having her own space but also equally loves getting pet and hanging close to her people. Sora is very independent and loves to have space to roam. She may enjoy being indoor/outdoor (she’s escaped a few times from my own home and always came back within a day). But, she also likes having her people close by so she knows she’s not alone. Sora will require a lot of time and patience getting adjusted to a new home. She has never lived anywhere else and she can come off as rather cold and aloof to new people. But, with patience, she will slowly warm up and her charming personality will show.
