Story
Looking for a New Home for Natasha ❤️I found Natasha abandoned during a walk when she was just a tiny kitten. She’s grown into such a sweet girl who loves pets, cuddles, and being loved on.Unfortunately, our other cat has continued to bully her, and it’s made her very nervous and skittish. We don’t want her to spend her life hiding or being separated from the rest of the house, so we’re hoping to find her a home where she can feel safe, relaxed, and loved.Natasha is a wonderful cat who just needs a chance to be herself without being scared. We think she’d do best in a calm home, ideally as the only cat or with pets that will be gentle with her. This is a really hard decision because we care about her so much, but we want what’s best for her. If you think you might be a good fit for Natasha, please send me a message. We’d love to find her the happy home she deserves.

Story
Rachel is an extremely sweet long-haired 'brown tabby and white' girl kitty. She's brave (when given enough space and time to properly adjust to new things), intelligent (you can see her thinking when she is puzzling something out), and extremely food motivated (Churu lickable and Friskies crunchy treats are her favorites!) Rachel loves to knead and lay with her people, and she likes watching whatever you are looking at on your phone, while keeping you company! We suspect she would love to be a lap kitty for watching TV or video games. Her fur does require daily brushing as it's very thick and fluffy. Unfortunately, she was adopted previously and then returned- her original adopters weren't willing to keep up with her brushing, and failed to teach her to enjoy the grooming, so she was returned to us with matted fur,and anxiety about brushing, which makes grooming time a little stressful for her unless handled just right.. After a little pampering time in a foster home, Rachel got to move into the adoption crate at Pet Supplies Plus on Pentagon Blvd in Beavercreek, and now she's ready to meet new friends! Though we haven't had lots of time with her while around other cats and dogs, she has done well at the onsite adoption event with other cats and dogs, and did well while she was in her foster home too. We do believe she will need patience and understanding while acclimating to any other pets or to children, but have seen no signs of concern while she's been with us. Rachel is a total sweetheart, and someone will be very lucky to be her best friend! Our vet estimates Rachel at approximately 4 years young. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We even offer getting acquainted period so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
*COURTESY POST* This kitty is not being fostered by Blue's Mews. If you're interested in Ghost or would like more information about him, please TEXT Shannon at (937) 397-7890. Ghost is a (typically STUNNING turkish angora persian mix long haired) 3-year old kitty with a problem... he's diabetic and currently requires insulin shots twice daily, which WOULDN'T be a problem except that his person is also currently responsible for providing care to family members outside the home, resulting in difficulty keeping Ghost's medication schedule consistent, sometimes delaying or even missing doses. Anyone who understands insulin knows the required shots are NOT something to be taken lightly, and though his family is doing all they can and sweet Ghost is doing his best to adapt for them, these issues are causing big problems for his health, and he has dropped a lot of weight. His vet confirms that with proper med administration he should bounce right back, but right now, despite his and his human's best efforts, he's struggling to keep himself clean and to use the potty appropriately. This has led his family to realize that their situation just doesn't allow for the kind of attention Ghost needs. Therefore, they're looking for a good home for him... someone able to love him and snuggle him as he deserves, and who will have no issues administering his twice daily insulin shots. Ghost is so extremely sweet and lovable!! He loves making biscuits, cuddling, and will demand pets and treats and attention from you! He also likes to be on a leash and will go out for walks with you. He's fine with children and with other animals (proper, patient introductions are always important.) He's a wonderful companion who needs someone with a structured daily schedule so that he can get and stay healthy. The vet has just seen Ghost again (which is where the crazy shave job came from, because of some matting in his fur), and has confirmed he has no other medical issues. His current owner is happy to provide vet records, get his potential adopter in touch with the vet, and will provide any of his medication they have on hand to his adopter. They are willing to cover some initial costs of medication as well, to endure Ghost starts off on a well-supported path with his new family. He is already neutered, but will need current vaccinations once he gains the weight he needs to gain. Could you be his special person?? If you have it in your heart to provide this sweet, deserving boy a safe, healthy home and will be able to handle his medical needs, Shannon would LOVE to hear from you! *Please note, the 2 photos that show shaved areas of fur are more current. The other images are from before his mats were trimmed out and at a healthier weight. *COURTESY POST* Please note, this kitty is not being fostered by Blue's Mews.
