Story
Meet Patches! Patches is searching for a loving new human companion where he can truly shine—he’d do best as the only cat, as he doesn’t get along well with other felines. He is also fearful of dogs.  This handsome 4-year-old neutered male is a ragdoll/Persian mix with both beauty and great manners. He’s an easygoing housemate who never scratches furniture, never tries to sneak outdoors, and lets you sleep through the night undisturbed. Patches enjoys being brushed, is delightfully curious, playful, and very communicative. He’s wonderful with children and unfazed by everyday household noises—even the hair dryer! While he’s not a lap cat, he absolutely loves human company and will happily follow you from room to room, always wanting to be nearby. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys your presence without demanding constant cuddles, Patches could be the perfect match. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 1, 2026, 10:29 pm

Story
TK is an independent cat; he is very comfortable with doing his own thing and existing around his people. He's a mellow energy kind of guy with a calm demeaner. His favorite thing is to be the surveillance of the house- observing everything is his favorite pass time. The best way to get on TK's good side is by sitting on the floor and doing spurts of petting. He loves love once he knows you are a safe person. Want to come and meet this top-notch security guard? Come down to SICSA and ask about TK! This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458.
