Story
Meet Patches! Patches is searching for a loving new human companion where he can truly shine—he’d do best as the only cat, as he doesn’t get along well with other felines. This handsome 4-year-old neutered male is a ragdoll/Persian mix with both beauty and great manners. He’s an easygoing housemate who never scratches furniture, never tries to sneak outdoors, and lets you sleep through the night undisturbed. Patches enjoys being brushed, is delightfully curious, playful, and very communicative. He’s wonderful with children and unfazed by everyday household noises—even the hair dryer! While he’s not a lap cat, he absolutely loves human company and will happily follow you from room to room, always wanting to be nearby. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys your presence without demanding constant cuddles, Patches could be the perfect match.   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 13, 2026, 3:05 pm

Story
Halle is the kind of cat who loves and is loyal to her owner. She needs a mostly calm and quiet environment. She does not like a busy atmosphere and she does not like dogs. She has lived with other cats, but would do better as the only animal. She is fairly calm. She gets bursts of energy and she acts goofy! She enjoys going outside, if you will allow her to do so. She sleeps a lot. She is also a good hunter and will catch any mice. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She gets stressed in loud/busy environments. Stress brings out her feline herpes symptoms (sneezing and eye discharge). Feline herpes is actually common in cats, but most cats don't show symptoms. Halle, unfortunately, displays symptoms when stressed (sneezing and eye discharge). Antibiotics, lysine, and eliminating the stress can ease or eliminate the symptoms. She is a really good cat; she just needs her match.

Story
Crow is a goofy, affectionate, high-energy kitten who believes attention should be given immediately upon request. He loves to be picked up for “uppies,” give little hugs around your neck, and rub all over your face. If you try to sleep in, Crow may attempt helpful wake-up methods such as ear licks, gentle nibbles, or grabbing a dramatic mouthful of hair. He is extremely playful and gets frequent zoomies, so he will do best in a home that enjoys interactive play. Crow sometimes gives excited little love nips while playing and is still learning that kitten teeth are sharp. He has experience living with other cats and dogs but has not lived with or had much experience with young children.
