One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat.  To learn more about this condition visit:  https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqsMarch 7, 2026, 9:49 am

DOB: 6/23/2026 Nessie is the tiny and mighty tortie girl of her litter with three much larger brothers. She doesn’t let her size prevent her from wrestling matches or toy stealing. Nessie purrs a lot once you get to know her. She can be a little shy at first but with a little patience and time, she will be rubbing on you for petting. Her favorite games are soccer with a pompom and running through hoop toys. If you like torties but don’t want the tortietude, Nessie could be a great fit for you.    **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. If there are no other pets in the household, adoption of two littermates is required. Kittens thrive with a feline companion to help them learn, play, and develop healthy social skills.
