Meet the Gorgeous George. He is the sweetest and fluffiest of boys. George enjoys playing with the other kitties in his foster home but still enjoys a nice long cat nap. George and a few of his siblings were born with a congenital eye condition. George lost his one eye earlier on and has been diagnosed with Glaucoma in his other eye. His fosters believe he does have some sight in his eye. George will need a family that understands his medical needs and realizes due to his sight impairment, he needs a routine and to have furniture, etc. in the same positions. George would prefer a quieter home environment. He is currently on eye medications and is a very good boy when receiving these medications. George will need regular eye pressure checks and a family that understands that it may be possible for him to lose his other eye too. George is in a foster home. Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is a domestic long-haired cat who arrived at the shelter through a humane case with his brothers and sister. With his fluffy coat and elegant look, he’s quite the handsome boy—but unlike his sister Mocha and his brother Leo, Gizmo prefers to take things slow. You’ll often find him tucked safely into the cozy bed in his kennel, where he feels most comfortable. New people can make him a little nervous, and it may take some time and patience to convince him to come out and say hello. But beneath that shy exterior is a sweet cat who does enjoy gentle pets once he starts to feel safe. Gizmo will do best with a patient and quiet home willing to give him time to adjust. With kindness, reassurance, and plenty of quiet snuggles, we believe he’ll gradually come out of his shell and show more of his personality. Because of his beautiful long fur, Gizmo will also need regular grooming to help keep his coat healthy and free of tangles. This quiet, fluffy boy just needs someone willing to move at his pace—and in return, they’ll gain a gentle companion who’s well worth the wait. Whether she’s observing the room from a cozy spot or coming over to investigate, she enjoys being part of the action. She’s the kind of cat who warms up nicely and becomes a lovely companion once she feels comfortable.
