Story
Birthdays: October 10, 2025 Thistle and Bramble are a beautiful bonded sister pair with a story of resilience and heart. Rescued from a trap–neuter–return operation in Lancaster along with several siblings, these two were the very last to be trapped. Understandably, they began their journey quite fearful of humans, but with patience, love, and dedicated foster care, they’ve blossomed into affectionate, playful companions.   Thistle is a stunning long-haired gray kitten with a white chest and paws. She’s energetic, curious, and always ready to investigate something new. Toys are her passion, and she happily seeks out affection once playtime winds down.   Bramble, her short-haired tortoiseshell sister with striking golden highlights, is a sweetheart who adores playing with other kittens. When she’s not chasing toys, you’ll find her cozied up making biscuits on a fuzzy blanket—pure contentment in kitten form.   Both girls have been well socialized with other kittens and even a resident dog, learning that humans are safe, kind, and worthy of their trust. They love laser toys and fast-moving wand toys, and they bring out the best in each other.   Thistle and Bramble would thrive in just about any loving home, but they truly shine together and would prefer to be adopted as a pair. If you’re looking for two playful, affectionate sisters to grow up with, these girls are ready to steal your heart.   Thistle and Bramble's adoption donation is $305 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Story
Birthday: November 30, 2023 A pure white drop of snow landed on a bush, but little did the rescuer know that it wasn't actually snow! It only seemed suiting to name this beautiful furry winter wonderland, Snowdrop! She seemed to be milking, but when her discoverers searched for kittens, none were found. Luckily, she was taken in, so she didn't have to fend for herself or have more litters. And here she is, wanting to find a human family to call her own! When you look at this majestic lady, is your first gut reaction to pet her to see how soft she truly is? Well, hurry it up! This dazzling girl loves pets! In fact, why don't you just pick her up already? She won't mind! You have food on you? Better cough it up! If this girl loves two things, it's love and food! Snowdrop will cuddle in bed with you at night, but you better be on time with her breakfast! Otherwise, you might get a little bit of an ear nibble as punishment! She enjoys her naps, whether they are on chairs or sofas! If you're not giving her attention or she's wide awake, toys are next on her list! She gets along with some of her kitty friends, but this girl knows who's top cat! She can be dominant, but she isn't mean about it. Meaning,, she will chase other cats whether or not they want to! If you are preparing her meals, she will hop on the counter and wait patiently until you're ready. She's as curious as a... well, cat! She always wants to know what's going on in her house.  If there is a new room she hasn't discovered, she will do some exploring! As a socialite, she loves meeting new people! She has no problem walking up to guests and introducing herself! Snowdrop's adoption donation is $140  and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Story
Birthday: October 1, 2024 Gita isn't a newcomer to our rescue, but her return wasn't a fault of her own. She was having difficulty thriving in a home with young children, and after some considerable thought, her owner decided she needed a home that would welcome Gita without the extra stress.  So, here she is again.  Gita may not be a fan of toddlers and other animals, but she's a treasure that would be wonderful in any quiet home.  There is only one word to describe Gita, and that's "sweet." She craves human attention and affection. She personally tries to connect with her human in ways most other pets don't. With a gorgeous calico face like that, who could resist befriending her? She turns into putty whenever you pet her, erupting into loud purrs.  To show her appreciation, she "gifts" you little gentle licks on your hand. Her soft fur is so fluffy that it's like petting a plush animal.  So if you're someone with no little humans or other pets running around, consider Gita! She would be the only pet you'd ever need! Gita's adoption donation is $140 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
