Maggie is a gentle, sensitive senior kitty who just needs a little time to feel safe. Around 12 years old, he can be very shy and timid at first, and he appreciates having his own space while he settles in. But with patience and understanding, Maggie begins to show his sweet side. Once he trusts you, he enjoys being pet—especially on his back and the top of his head—and will even become quite affectionate with his chosen person. In his previous home, he loved sleeping with his person and being nearby once he felt comfortable. Maggie is healthy for his age and has the cutest little chirp he uses when he wants attention or needs something—it’s sure to make you smile. He would do best with a calm, patient adopter who understands that the best bonds take time—but are absolutely worth it. 💛
