Meet Pierce! Pierce is a handsome 3-4 year-old gentleman with a heart full of love and the sweetest raspy meow you've ever heard. His story before coming to us is a mystery, but we know he was looking for help when he appeared at a managed community cat colony in Spring Hill Acres, along the Lancaster-Lebanon County border. Since joining our care, Pierce has received a dental procedure and has been neutered. He is also FIV-positive, but don't let that discourage you—cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives with proper care and regular veterinary checkups. Pierce is a people-loving cat who enjoys attention and absolutely adores being brushed. He has so much affection to give and would love nothing more than a cozy home where he can spend his days soaking up love from his favorite humans. While Pierce can coexist with other cats, they aren't really his preference. Because he was only recently neutered, he may need some time for his hormones to settle and to become less concerned about other male cats sharing his space. He would thrive as the only cat in the home, though he may also do well with a young cat or a confident, non-submissive adult feline companion. He doesn't seem bothered by dogs and can comfortably share space with canine friends.
