Jett was living in a very terrible environment before he came into our rescue. He was one of 12 cats living in a 24x36 kennel in the backseat of a homeless woman's car. The 12 cats were in the kennel with a litter box and food bowl and were literally laying on top of each other. They were all malnourished and covered in fleas. Since he was rescued, he has gained weight, tested negative for diseases, been vaccinated and neutered. He is now a very sweet boy who loves to be held and loved on. He had to have his right eye removed but this does not slow him down at all! He was born in September 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. Yes, that's right, her name is really It's OK Silky. She was scared the first time she went to the vet, so they kept telling her "It's OK Silky." Her right eye is a little cloudy, which is why she was scared at the vet. She doesn't behave any differently from other cats because of her eye. She is cautious at first, but very sweet after she gets to know you. You can hold her and she may turn into a lap cat after she adjusts to a new home. She is a gorgeous, long haired black beauty.
