Story
Sweetie is a chinchilla Persian weighing in at nearly 6 pounds. She’s a tiny girl with long hair that sometimes parts in the middle down her back because it’s so long. Sweetie was dumped on the streets in Kuwait, likely because she had FIP. She received 84 days of FIP treatment and is now cured. She’s always been a bit of a picky eater. She prefers wet food of chicken varieties, particularly Weruva brand. She turns her nose up at most dry foods but she eats Acana Meadowlands and enjoys it daily. Sweetie can be super playful, batting around ball toys and chasing them around the room. She’d do best with one or two other cats or being the only pet. Calm dogs are likely ok. Sweetie is very gentle and won’t stick up for herself very well.

Story
Meet Stella — a quiet, sensitive young cat who is ready for a fresh start after a very difficult beginning.Stella came from a heartbreaking situation in western Wisconsin, where 98 cats were rescued from one home. After everything she’s survived, it’s no surprise she’s still learning to trust the world. She carries a few signs of past neglect in her coat, but with steady care and time, she’s already beginning to look and feel better.Just a year old, Stella is a sweet, shy girl who thrives with calm, predictable routines. She isn’t ready for pets or hands-on affection yet, but she finds comfort in having a gentle human presence nearby. You’ll often find her curled up in a cozy spot, watching quietly or drifting off to sleep. Her peaceful energy brings a softness to any room.Stella has lived with other cats before and does well in a co-existence style home — she’s content sharing space without expecting attention from people or other animals. Her adopter should be ready for a slow, patient journey as Stella discovers safety and confidence at her own pace. The reward will be watching her take small but meaningful steps toward feeling secure and understood. If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to help a deserving cat heal, Stella may be the perfect match. We`ve made her an Angel`s Wish Forget-Me-Not so her adoption fee is waived. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm, or may be able to be adopted by appointment for approved adopters.
