Meet Amber 🧡 Amber is a beautiful calico kitten with a sweet personality and a strong, resilient spirit. She has the perfect balance of affectionate and independent—she enjoys pets and spending time with her people, but she’s also confident and content exploring or relaxing on her own. Amber came to us from a neglect case in Juneau County, where animals were living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions without running water and with trash piled throughout the home. Despite her difficult start, Amber has shown nothing but love and adaptability. She’s learning that the world can be a safe and caring place, and she’s ready to find a family who will give her the stability and kindness she deserves. All our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. I'm 66 and and have heart problems. I have had her since she was 7 weeks old. She hates being groomed and now has a huge mound of poop stuck in her fur and won't let me try to get it off. I got so sick from the smell. Someone who can afford to take care of her is who her owner needs to be. She's a good cat. Friendly.

With patience and a soft approach, Nomad will allow slow, gentle pets once she feels comfortable. She gets along well with other cats and would do best in a peaceful home where she can settle in at her own pace. Nomad is looking for a kind, understanding family who will give her the time and love she needs to truly feel safe.
