We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Peaches is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own but firmly believes everything will be just peachy and she will soon have her own humans again. She's seeking long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures that come with being a well-loved family pet. In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes and tail wags, and all the love and loyalty in her stubby legged little body. What do you say? Is this utterly adorable girl the one for your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Peaches is a sweet, loving, affectionate pup with a big personality packed into her little legs! She’s playful, goofy, and full of energy—always ready to make you smile. Her favorite hobbies include getting belly rubs, chasing squeaky toys, playing tug-of-war, and fetching balls like a pro. If you’ve been staring at your computer too long, Peaches will happily remind you to take a break, will get on your lap and shower you with kisses and cuddles! After a fun day of play and yummy kibble, she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap or snuggling beside you on the couch for a well-deserved nap. Peaches is great with other dogs and loves the dog park, don’t mind her little legs, she is fast and keeps up with any dog. She’s crate-trained, sleeps through the night, and greets you in the morning with tail wags, adoring gazes, and plenty of love. House training? She’s doing fantastic! On walks, Peaches is a good leash partner. She may get excited and pull occasionally, but most of the time she keeps a loose leash and checks in with you like the loyal friend she is.
