Hi I'm Bluey! I'm an adorable Pitsky, part Siberian Husky and part Pitbull who is full of love , energy , and loyalty. I thrive on attention and activity and I'm seeking experienced family who can give me the time and love that I deserve. I need to live inside all the time but need a family who is active and likes to walk and play. I need a good sized yard with a safe fence . When I'm outside I need supervision and a leash at all times because I tend to run after animals like lizards or oppossums. Working dog breeds we can escape. I'm microchipped and neutered but need my vaccines and vet care up to date. I have no formal training but know sit and come. I'm food motivated and can learn with patience. I have never bitten and am friendly. I need a forever home that is truly experienced with high energy breeds like myself and who is truly committed to me forever. Dexter is about 9 years old, very friendly and howls when it's time to eat and go on a walk. That's when he really comes alive. Dexter was relinquished to our rescue by his prior owner. Dexter walks 2 miles/day, but is a couch potato the rest of the day. He gets along with other dogs, cats and humans. He loves his treats, and knows commands like sit, give me your paw, come, lie down. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, deflead. After being rescued from his second scheduled euthanasia, he’s getting the fresh start he’s always deserved, and he’s ready to show the world just how special he is. This sweet guy is the definition of a cuddle bug. Milo truly believes he’s a lap dog and will happily curl up on top of you, soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. He forms strong bonds with his people and thrives on connection, affection, and a sense of security. Like many dogs who haven’t had consistent guidance in the past, Milo still has a little work to do. He’ll need continued structure and training to feel confident and safe around kids and small dogs. The good news is he’s already on the path to success and will be working on both on- and off-leash obedience, setting him up to become a well-mannered and reliable companion. Milo’s journey hasn’t been easy, but his capacity for love is endless. With the right home, one that offers patience, leadership, and lots of snuggles, he’s going to absolutely thrive. He’s not just looking for a home; he’s looking for his person, his safe place, and his forever family. Milo deserves a life filled with love, stability, and second chances.
