Story
Avery was my late daughter’s fur baby. My daughter passed on August 7, 2026. I am unable to keep her which breaks my heart. Avery is a lovable, silly girl. She loves to sunbathe outside and scratch her back. She loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and will stretch out her body and crawl on her tummy to little dogs. She is an inside dog at night. She was raised in the city and has lived in the suburbs. She is leash trained and house trained. This past month has been hard on her since she lost her Mama and her normalcy. She needs someone to love her, have patience with her, and help her feel safe during her grieving time. It is very important that she goes to kind, loving home.

Story
Note on vetting: Chowie is currently intact, but I am more than happy to discuss options, local clinic recommendations, or foster-to-adopt arrangements with the right family!Chowie is a 2-year-old Pitsky/Labrador Retriever mix who is currently in foster care. He came into my care after his previous owners moved and were unable to take him with them.Chowie is:• Housetrained and learning leash manners• Good with children and most other dogs• Responding well to basic behavior training• Cuddly, playful, and very people-oriented• Self-sufficient with no attachment issuesChowie is a sweet, playful boy who also loves to cuddle! While he is good with other dogs, he does best when greetings are handled correctly. He is very independent and doesn't have attachment issues, making him a great companion for a household looking for a balanced dog. He needs a loving home with people who can continue his training and give him the time he deserves.💰 Rehoming fee: $50

Story
I am looking to find a good home for a sweet dog that my daughter found and brought to me on July 29th. She was extremely emaciated when she arrived, but she is doing much better now. Unfortunately, I cannot keep her because I travel too much to give her the love and attention she deserves. Here are some details about her: - Breed/Age: She appears to be a Pitbull/Terrier mix, around 2 to 3 years old. - Health: She has a tattoo indicating she has already been spayed. - Personality: She is wonderful with children and all people, loves attention, and enjoys being a lap dog. - Interests: She loves car rides, playing tug-of-war, and playing fetch. - Behavior: She comes when called and listens very well. While she initially went after cats, she has been trained to leave them alone, though she still requires occasional reminders. She is free to a good home. Please let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested in adopting her.
