Hopper is about 6 years old, we rehomed him for a coworker moving out of state, he is very cautious of men, before we got him he had broken quite a few of his teeth kennel training, and he does not like his tail touched at all. A few adjectives to describe hopper would be gentle, shy, playful, and loving

Story
Meet Kano! Looking for a loyal and cuddly companion? Look no further than Kano, a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart of gold. This big boy is a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be by your side. You'll often find him following his favorite people from room to room or curled up at the foot of the bed. Kano is currently looking for a new home because his owner's work schedule has made it difficult to give him the time and attention he deserves. He's a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to play, go for walks, and chew on his light-up balls. What Makes Kano Special? * A True Companion: Kano is extremely attached to his people and loves to be near them, whether he's sleeping at the foot of the bed or following you around the house. * A Smarty-Pants: He is potty-trained and knows how to sit and stay. He is also crate-trained. He's smart and ready to learn more. * Good with Small Dogs and Kids: Kano gets along well with smaller dogs and is good with kids, though they may be a little intimidated by his size at first. * Loves to Play: He's a fan of walks and loves to play with his toys, especially his light-up balls. What Kano is Looking For in a Home Kano's ideal home is one where he can get lots of love, attention, and playtime. He's used to a home with no other pets or kids, but he does well with small dogs. He would love a family that can take him on regular walks and give him the affection he craves. He can be shy around new people and other large dogs, so an owner who understands this and can provide a calm, reassuring environment will be a great fit. Kano may growl at strangers, but he doesn't bite—he just needs a little time to warm up. A Few Things to Know: * Size: Kano can be a little jumpy when people come to the door. * Other Animals: He does best with small dogs and can be growly with big dogs and cats. * Leash Manners: He does well on the leash but can pull a bit, so he'll benefit from someone who can work with him on this. * Cuddles: He is a super cuddly boy who wants to be loved. Kano is a truly good dog who wants nothing more than a forever home where he can be part of the family. He is a loving, playful, and loyal companion who will fill your life with joy. He'll come with his bed and favorite toys to help him settle in.

Story
This stunning German Shepherd is 4.5 years old, born July 7, 2021, and is looking for the right home where she can truly thrive. She is spayed, microchipped, fully up to date on vaccinations, and is on monthly Simparica Trio for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She is a smart, loyal, and affectionate dog who bonds deeply with her people. She loves playing fetch, enjoys belly rubs, and is happiest when she’s with someone she trusts. Inside the home, she warms up to people quickly and shows her sweet, goofy side—but like many German Shepherds, she is naturally wary of strangers, especially outside the home. She is crate trained, house trained, and has basic obedience. She also completed a 2-week puppy boot camp when she was younger. While she is mostly leash trained, she does struggle with leash reactivity and fear-based reactions in unfamiliar environments. 🐕 Dog Compatibility: She can do well with other large dogs with very slow, structured introductions. She tends to be more dominant and does best with calm, submissive dogs. She has successfully lived with other dogs in the past, including spending a month in a multi-dog home about six months ago. 🐈 Cats: She is not cat-friendly. Although she grew up around cats, her high prey drive and energy level now make a cat-free home a must. 👶 Children: She has not been around kids and would not be a good fit for a home with children, as she is very large, energetic, and doesn’t realize her own size. 🏡 Ideal Home: She would do best with an experienced dog owner, preferably someone familiar with German Shepherds, who is willing to continue training and provide structure. A confident handler who understands reactivity and can help her build confidence in the outside world.
