Story
Bella is a young pitbull mix. She grew up in a difficult home and we took her in a couple years ago after her last owners got her litter of puppies. Her tail was broken to make her less desirable. She becomes very attached to one person and has some anxiety along with lots of energy. She loves to sprint around the back yard and is always ready for cuddles and playtime. She's slowly become more vocal after these couple years, where at first she was very shy and didn't bark or make noise. She's been good with our other dog and cats for a long time, but has become more irritable and overprotective with our other dog and a baby in the house. A good home would probably have no other dogs if they're children around. She's kennel trained and listens well.Considering the difficulty in finding a new home and shelters refusing to take in more dogs, we will probably have to put Bella down in the coming weeks.

Story
Lucy is an 8-year-old German Shepherd who became part of our family when my mother-in-law, who bred German Shepherds, passed away. She spent her early years on a small farm, running and playing with other dogs, and has adapted well through several moves over the years.Lucy is a loving, loyal dog who has been great with our children and friendly with visitors. In 2023, she completed a professional board-and-train program and knows basic obedience. Because she grew up with little leash experience, she can be somewhat anxious on walks.Lucy is intelligent, active, and needs more exercise and attention than we can currently provide, which is why we have made the difficult decision to find her a new home. She has lived with dogs and cats and generally gets along well with them. We are aware of one incident where she snapped at another dog on a walking trail. We’re looking for a loving home that can give Lucy the time, activity, and companionship she deserves.

Story
We got Maki from the Idaho Humane Society back in January. They didnt have any information about her, but we took a chance. She’s an amazing dog, she’s smart, great with our smaller dog, great with our kids, loves attention and cuddling. Unfortunately, we have a very busy work life right now, with that we aren’t home as much as we would like, thus we aren’t able to give her the attention she needs and deserves. She would be a perfect fit for a family that is active, and is able to play and interact with her more than we are. It’s extremely hard for us to take this step as we have all grown a strong love for her, but we recognize with us not being able to give her the attention she needs/ deserves all the time isn’t fair to her.

Story
Are you looking for a "perfectly sized" companion with a heart of gold? Meet Zippy, a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who clocks in at an ideal 48 lbs. He’s the ultimate blend of active adventurer and world-class lounge act. Zippy is a gentle soul who hasn't met a stranger he didn't like. Whether he's tossing a tennis ball in the air to catch it himself or snoozing at your feet, he just wants to be part of the "pack." He thrives with other dogs! In his foster home, he spends his days roughhousing with his fur-brother. He is a total gentleman in the car and is always ready for a drive-thru Pup Cup. He walks beautifully on a leash and loves exploring the neighborhood. Zippy adores children and would be a patient, loving addition to a family with kids. He is fully crate trained and will greet you with the most adorable "woo-woo" barks and wiggles when you get home! If you leave him in the crate for long periods of time he will sometimes cry. Zippy would love a family that appreciates both his playful side and his chill mode. Another dog in the home would be great but he would also be content just having dog friends. He would be a great fit with someone that works from home, a retired couple or a young family.
