We rescued Zoe in 2020. When she first came to us she took a long time to warm up to my Husband. However, she took to me (Mom) and our 3 little boys and their friends immediately. She was abused at her previous home, but we took her in at 7 months old. She is now inseparable from my Husband. She is loving and very protective over her family, especially over the kids. We love her so much and will only allow her to go to a home that can love her like we do. I unfortunately am disabled and my condition is getting to a point where I am unable to take care of her basic needs. My Husband works 2 jobs and is my caretaker as well. She needs more than we can give her. Danes, especially Zoe, are known for lounging around most of the day. But she does still like to play.

Baby is currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, please start by visiting www.sccrescue.org and completing an application.Baby is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. This sweet 8-year-old Shepherd has a gentle soul, a constantly wagging tail, and so much love to give to the people around her. She’s fully house trained, happily lets you know when she’d like to go outside, and can be trusted with free roam of the home while you’re away. Baby adores being near her humans, whether she’s lounging on the couch, curled up in her dog bed, or joining you for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood.One of Baby’s most charming qualities is her calm, affectionate nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, tolerates cats respectfully, and would likely thrive in a family with children thanks to her patient demeanor. While she can be a little shy with fast movements or sudden pets, a slow and gentle approach quickly earns her trust. Baby is learning her leash manners and enjoys following the lead of her canine friends on walks. She especially loves being outdoors, as long as her favorite people are nearby.Baby’s foster describes her as grateful, loyal, and deeply loving — the kind of companion who simply wants to be cherished and included. She has playful little bursts of energy with her beloved crinkle toy, but she’s equally content relaxing close to her people. Because she struggles a bit with stairs, she would do best in a home with minimal climbing. In return, Baby promises endless devotion, soft companionship, and the quiet comfort that only a truly special dog can bring.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. Meet Timber..... While Timber could be mistaken for a small wolf, he’s a Husky-Shepherd Mix. A a very smart and handsome boy!! Timber enjoys playing and running; he’d prefer to run and play with a human companion rather than another dog. He LOVES people and is good with most everyone. Timber’s estimated date of birth is July 4 2021. He’s about 60 lbs. of energy! An ideal home for Timber, and one in which he’d thrive and his family would forever enjoy his companionship is one experienced with the Husky (or a similar) breed, has the time to commit to a young large-breed energetic boy, and a willingness to set boundaries and guidelines to ensure Timber evolves into a perfect family member. Timber is a quick learner and is sure to make progress toward his behavior goals pretty quickly! Timber would love a secure, fenced yard, and possibly being an only dog so he can receive ALL the attention!! Timber is fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, neutered and microchipped.
