Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 52 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Hello this is Kevin! he is about 5-6 years old, is real age in unknown as he was found as a stray. I first adopted him from the humane society. He is a fun, goofy and loving dog. He does well with bigger kids; however, he can be clumsy and careless sometimes with babies. So it is best to keep him with older children. My wife and I are looking to rehome him for that reason, we have a baby with another on the way. He’s a loving dog, who needs a loving home with a family that can give him the time he deserves.

Story
Meet BrunoBruno is a 10-month-old Pit Bull/Shepherd mix weighing 41 pounds. He gets along well with dogs, children, and has lived with cats—though he would do best with a dog-savvy cat since he can be playful.Bruno was surrendered through no fault of his own when his owner could no longer afford to care for him. He has been at the shelter for about a month, and the shelter environment has been very hard on him mentally. He would truly thrive in a home and would benefit from an adopter as soon as possible.According to his previous owner, Bruno is housebroken, easy to train, and very smart. He already knows sit, lay down, and stay. Like many puppies, his only issue was chewing shoes when left alone, but once crate training was started, he did very well and is comfortable in a crate.Bruno is still just a puppy with so much potential and love to give. He’s looking for a family who will give him stability, patience, and a chance to decompress outside the shelter.Adoption fee: $85Bruno is here through no fault of his own—he’s just waiting for someone to see how special he is.The shelter has to have an approved application in order to schedule a meet n greet. Please bring your other dogs to the meet n greet! Our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Please be patient with us as it can take 24-48 hours to process an application. We will email you, or call you with an approval or denial. Please be diligent when checking your email. Approved applications are kept on file for one year.
