In the home, Junie is an active, busy girl who is learning how to settle and move calmly from room to room. She is not destructive and prefers appropriate chew items such as a stuffed Kong or a bone, which she uses during crate time. Her crate training and house manners are making steady progress, and she is responding well to guidance. Junie is also improving her leash skills and eye contact and is learning how to enjoy calm, relaxed affection. She is currently receiving professional training and is being fostered by a professional trainer, giving her a strong foundation in confidence and good manners. With consistency and a stable routine, she is expected to continue maturing into a loving and well-balanced companion. While the shelter environment can be overstimulating for her, Junie truly thrives outdoors and would happily spend much of her day outside. She enjoys appropriate play with other dogs and does very well in social settings. Junie is on a special diet; shelter staff will be happy to provide details and answer questions during a meet and greet.
