This is Tianna or known as TT for short. about 3 years of age, not clear when her birthdate is. Her owner left for the military before finding a home for her! Tianna gets along with other dogs and kids as well but a difficult situation and we want her to have more. We have tried other options as well for a couple months but nothing has worked out. She is kennel trained! She comes with a completely new set of bowls, a new pink kennel (both still in box), her leash and harness. Shes very playful and I believe she only knows how to sit. She just needs someone patient to teach her some more commands she learns quickly. I want her to be able to have a home where she can have more to run around and be happier as I know I cant give her the life she deserves, I hope someone else can.

Story
Hi, I'm Romper! I'm a 2 year old German Shepherd mix with tons of life! I showed up at my foster's house a few months ago and I was really skinny, actually emaciated. I was missing patches of hair and covered in fleas and ticks. Thankfully, my foster got me all cleane dup and is now helping me find my forever home. I'm an energetic girl and I love toys (especially chew toys and tug-o-war). Even though I'm 50 lbs- I'm still a lap dog lol. I'm super smart and pick up on things quickly. I do great with other dogs, cats, and even goats (no chickens though!)  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2559898##

**Courtesy Post** Ramona is about 8-10 years old Weighs 37lbs Husky mix  Fully vetted and hw-   Ramona was severely abused in her past and was emaciated when she came to me. She flinches when you move too fast and is always ready to be hit. She's gotten much better and doesn't jump every time she's touched anymore but we're still working on making her feel more comfortable.    She's the sweetest gal without an aggressive bone in her body. She tries to engage in play but she has 2 severely luxated patella's so she isn't incredibly stable. She takes gabapentin for her knees and that seems to make her feel a whole lot better! She likes other dogs but doesn't like them being rowdy in her face and who could blame her! The most she'll do is bark and walk away. She's learning to enjoy walks bones toys and a comfy place to sleep!    She struggled with digestive issues but after a round of steroids she seems to be doing 100% better! She takes probiotics and one serving of Metamucil per day plus she gets a tablespoons of pumpkin with both meals.    This girl is unbelievably sweet and deserves a calm home where she can continue her progress of being a dog.   To adopt Ramona please send an email to Nickiroy37@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 19, 2025, 3:20 pm
