Alpha got to spend the day out of the shelter on a date! He did great! He loved having his head out of the window and feeling the breeze on his face.This is how his date described the day: `We went to many different places! We went to Dorostkar Park, then Crystal Peak Park in Verdi, then In-N-Out for a pup patty, and we cruised around a little to let him feel the wind. He had so much speed in him and he let us know when he wanted to leave by taking us back to the car. He pulled a little but nothing too crazy. I noticed he already knew how to sit and shake, and did it first try! He followed his nose the whole way and we let him lead.` What a great experience for Alpha and his date.

He plays wonderfully with his canine friends and does a great job listening to and respecting the boundaries other dogs set — such a polite gentleman!Kahlua is a fun-loving pup who enjoys playtime, toys, and making new friends. Like many dogs, he can sometimes be a little protective over his favorite toys. When he wants to claim one as his own, he may give a grumbly little growl to let everyone know it’s “his”. It’s simply his way of communicating and setting boundaries. With proper introductions and guidance, he continues to show what a good boy he truly is.He would thrive in a home that understands normal dog behaviors and can continue helping him build confidence and positive habits.
