Story
Pumpkin is a sweet, affectionate, adventurous girl estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. I adopted her from BARC when she was on the euthanasia list after being surrendered by a family with small children who found her energy level difficult to manage. Pumpkin is house-trained, playful, curious, and engaging. She loves exploring, playing with toys and balls and although she likes to engage with you, she is also independent, quiet (rarely barks), happy to entertain herself, and is crate trained. Her ideal home would be with an active person or family who enjoys the outdoors and can provide daily exercise, attention, and continued training. A farm or home with acreage and a securely fenced area to explore and play would be a wonderful fit. Pumpkkin has been learning skills related to psychiatric service dog work, but she is not a fully trained service dog. Due to her curiosity, Pumpkin would do best in a cat-free home unless the cat really likes to play with dogs. :)

Story
Twinkles is a playful, affectionate 1-year-and-3-month-old girl who loves attention and being around her people. She has graduated from a formal puppy academy, is spayed and microchipped, and is wonderful with children and other animals. This is a very hard decision for our family. Because of ongoing back pain from sciatica, and with a baby on the way, I'm no longer able to give her the care, exercise, and energy she deserves. She has brought so much joy into our home, and she deserves a family who can give her the time and activity she needs. We're hoping to find a kind, patient family who will respect her, love her, and treat her as one of their own. If you think you could be that home, please reach out. We'd love to get to know you and make sure it's the right match.

Story
Xena was 3 weeks when I got her. I didn’t know anything about raising or training a dog so there were some bumps. She’s potty trained and is able to go outside, knows sit, lay down, paw, spring, recall, and get your toy. I haven’t been having trouble with her until recently, she’s been ignoring her recall command, won’t let me leash her as she runs away the moment she spots a leash, and even though I’ve been working on her to stop jumping on people it came back worse, she also has this tendency to nip when she wants to play and that was why I taught the toy command but she’s ignoring that too. I tried to correct it, tried different training methods, but it’s getting to a point where I don’t think I’m capable of keeping her. I don’t believe I was the right person to take her in, so I would appreciate if an experienced trainer can help her, I love her she’s my baby but I don’t know what to do this time.
