Story
Scooter is very affectionate and loves people. He needs to be in a single person home with lots of time to play outside. He loves his friends and is VERY food motivated. He has a beautiful brindle color that makes him look like a tiger! Will love any and everyone - doesn’t meet a stranger. He will need training but is very smart and wants to learn.

Story
Hi my name is Onyx Anthony! Im a 1 year old Heeler and pitty mix. My birthday is the last week of April. My mom is a Blue Heeler and my dad is a Pit Bull.I came from of big family of 8 sisters and brothers. My mom was originally a neighborhood dog and was adopted by the families in my neighborhood. My dad lived elsewhere, but visited his human grandmother one day, escaped from her yard and met my Mom in the field behind my house, lol and here I am.My human Mom has pictures of my Mom and Dad on their "Date". lol So a little about me, I'm very active and love balls and snacks. Snacks are my favorite. Dr. B at PetcoKaty said I have to watch my weight because I love snacks so much. But she gives them to me all the time when Im at her office. I have been with my human Mom and brother since I was 6 weeks and my little dog sister Lilly. She is the oldest but Im the 50x bigger brother. She's only 5lbs, but she lets me smell her all the time.

These pups are in Houston, Texas too!

Story
Meet Dax!Breed: Teacup Shepherd/Pittie MixAge: ~1 yearWeight: ~30 lbsLooking for a sweet, snuggly sidekick? Meet Dax, a lovable Pittie mix who’s ready to steal your heart, and maybe your lap, too!Dax is a gentle, medium-energy boy who adores his people and loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles and giving soft kisses. He’s a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll see his goofy, affectionate personality shine through. He’s currently living with several other dogs (nine, to be exact!) and gets along great with them. While he’s shown a little food-guarding around human meals, he responds well to correction and has done beautifully with structured feeding routines.House & Crate Training:Dax is doing fantastic with his potty training — he knows to go outside and is great about holding it. He’s okay in his crate, though he’ll sometimes “chat” if he knows you’re home (he just doesn’t want to miss out on the fun!).Other Notes:Great with other dogsCats & kids: unknownWalks nicely on leash, no reactivity observedNo aggression or separation anxiety notedLoves toys, especially noisy ones (the crinklier, the better!)May indulge in a bit of backyard digging if left alone (he might have a little mole in him).Dax would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to build confidence and get plenty of affection. He’d enjoy having a friendly dog buddy to play with, but he’d also do well as the only pup if he gets lots of human attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, tenderhearted companion with a silly side, Dax is your guy! Dax is currently in a loving foster home in the Houston, Texas area. He is able to travel out of state!Adoption application: https://www.this-is-houston.org/adopt/adopt-application

Story
Hi, I’m Kimbo, and if you had to describe me in just two words, they’d probably be "teddy bear". I’m a goofy, gentle soul with a huge heart and an even bigger love for my people. Petting is nice and all, but I’m all about real hugs! I’ve even mastered the art of politely corralling you and stopping you until I get one. I’m happiest when I’m with my family. If I cry or howl when we’re apart, it’s not because I’m scared, it's because I love deeply and my heart just wants us all together. I’m a very chill, loyal guy who thrives on closeness and connection. One thing to know about me: stairs aren’t my thing, so I’d prefer a cozy single-story home where I can relax and stay safe.  I’ve already done a great job training my foster humans. They know I prefer my meals with a little pumpkin mixed in, that I expect hugs when they get home, and that my dog bed belongs tucked into the corner — just the way I like it. Because my heart is so big, I’m looking for a family who will truly welcome me as a full member of the pack. I give a lot of love and affection and need that same energy right back. If you’re the kind of family who loves daily snuggles, closeness, and a devoted companion, I promise I’ll be your most loyal teddy bear for life! ##2560522##
