Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

Hello, my name is Reign and I am a 75 pound, almost 2 year old female Shepherd Mix. I’m a great dog that is looking for a family to call my own. I have been working with a lovely trainer who is also a graduate from Paws in Prison since I was 3 and ½ months old She says I am eager to please, love to work and learn and I’m ready to settle into an environment where I feel loved.  My ideal family will continue my training at home, because I absolutely love to learn. I do well in a crate, and don’t tear up my bed. I am a lover, and full of life! Once you meet me, you won't ever want to leave me..... so what are you waiting for..... let's fall in love!  Paws in Prison saved me from euthanasian aka death row at a very young age.  Unfortunately I haven’t had the easiest life thus far.  I went from living on the streets, to living in prison, to living in a boarding kennel where I am today.  I believe I deserve better than this!! I am ready to take my place in your family, to be a part of something bigger..... I am ready to Reign over your life and heart with love and goofiness.... contact us today!
