We recently lost her sister Rubi to lymphoma at just five years old, and I want to make sure Jojo gets everything she deserves. I've been caretaking Rubi for the past 5 years (chemo visits and all) and need to focus on me. Jojo needs a sister or brother, and I'm not in a place to get a new dog. She is SMART. Probably the smartest dog I have ever met. 🧠She is ATHLETIC. This girl needs to move! Running, walking, playing fetch. A yard would be her dream. 🏃‍♀️She is PLAYFUL but alpha about her toys. She does best with a calm, submissive dog. 👑She loves snacks, bones, and sleeping by your feet at the end of the day. 🦴She loves LIFE. Over Mother's Day weekend my son passed away leaving his dog Eva without a home. Eva is senior Pitty. She is between 10 and 12 years old and he was the only owner she had she was given to him here in Austin by someone who did not want her anymore we think she was about a year and a half to two years old at that time. We did take her and get her up to date on her shots and the vet looked her over and said she was in good shape, she is heartworm negative, and her teeth look really good. We are currently located in Leander. We are asking for a $50 rehoming fee to make this sure she goes to a very good home. Eva would need to be the only dog in the home, I do not believe she would get along with cats and if there are any children in the home they need to be 10 and older. She loves belly rubs and absolutely loves to be around people. It would be great if she could be an inside dog she is potty trained scratches at the door or otherwise notifies you if she needs to go outside to potty.

Miss Bonnie is a 4-year-old Boxer/Pit mix. Shots are current as of March 2026, she is spayed and chipped. She also has a locator on her collar that works with iPhone or Android. She is very gentle and very loving. We have no children at home but believe she would be a great family fit as she loves attention. The new owner will want to change the chip information (on- line) which costs approximately $50. She comes with her kennel, dishes, collars, leashes, harness and vet and chip records.

Story
Shadow is a purebred German Shepherd with AKC paperwork who came with our home. The previous owners were breeders and had kept him mostly outside. When they moved they didn’t want him, so we took him in and have had him for about five years.Shadow is a goofy, sweet dog who bonds closely with his person and likes watching over the house and yard. He’s actually pretty low-energy and spends most of the day relaxing. He enjoys playing keep-away.He is house trained, great on a leash, and naturally heels when walking. He knows sit and waits for the cue “good dogs” before eating.We are rehoming because he does not get along with our other male dog. We’ve managed it by keeping them separated, but with a baby on the way that’s no longer going to be realistic. Shadow cannot live with any male dogs or cats. A home with a yard and either no pets or a well-socialized female dog would be ideal. We have a female dog as well and they get along fine.
