Story
She-ra is lovely dog that I adopted from the Austin Humane Society last year. She is affectionate, playful, funny, house and kennel trained, and knows basic commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Now for the hard part: She-ra is severely allergic to grass, has Boxer Colitis, and a possible protein allergy as well. Her grass allergy means she is always, always itchy. Her colitis is currently managed, but may require occasional antibiotics if she experiences a flare, and for the protein allergy she eats an exclusive hydrolyzed kibble and vegetarian treats. I am a single teacher and while I love this little dog with my entire heart, her care is a doozy on me financially and I just want her to go to a loving home with someone with the means to care for her and not back to the shelter if I can help it.

Story

Hi! I’m Chase! I’m 4 years old, about 80 pounds, and I’m a German Shepherd who is pretty much up for whatever you’ve got planned. Things I love: Going for walks Playing with my dog friends All the food. ALL of it. Being outside and exploring Going places with my people A few fun facts about me: I was named after Chase, the German Shepherd from PAW Patrol. I’m a little suspicious of trash cans sitting along the road. You never know what those things are up to. I may be 80 pounds, but I'm a great leash walker and I never pull. I’ve had a few stops along the way before landing with Central Texas Ruffugees, and I’m really hoping my next stop is the one that sticks. I’m looking for someone who matches my youthful spirit and is ready to help me experience all the things — walks, adventures, new places, new smells, and everything else I haven’t gotten to do yet. Bella Trixie was abandoned at H.E.B. but found by a kindly soul and is now in boarding. She is awesome with people and other dogs. Sweet, affectionate, loyal and so friendly. She has never had the opportunity to be in a real family with loving people. Does that sound like you? Are you looking for a best friend who will love you forever. Bella Trixie is so grateful for a pet on the head and a good meal. She deserves to be spoiled and loved. She loves training and responds well to treats and great on leash!
