Story
This is Bruno! He's a 5-year-old pitbull who's only ever known one owner. Because he grew up as an only dog, with no mom he's not very comfortable and gets aggressive around other dogs or cats, and can be a bit avoidant rather than aggressive when meeting new people. He's also a very anxious dog and gets scared easily, which can also come across as aggression. Bruno recently tore his ACL on his left back leg, which we're told is pretty common for pitbulls that could be another reason for the aggressiveness due to pain. He really needs a loving home that can show him the world isn't so scary because he is a sweet energetic boy. He's not a fan of nail trims, but he loves baths, love loves the water and ear cleanings, and finds comfort in suckling on a blanket.

Owner is dying with terminal cancer. Going down hill quick and family is unable to keep Honey do to other responsibilities. Honey does growl at new people but has not been known to bite. She’s very mild mannered and loves her owner. And he loves her in return.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cinnamon's family was moving across the country and she and her Pyr brother Zeus needed new homes asap! Zeus found a family but Cinnamon wasn't able to go with him. Luckily one of our wonderful fosters stepped up and we were able to welcome this adorable little girl into rescue! Cinnamon is wonderful with all other dogs but may need just a minute to warm up. She loves people and is great with kids too. She has been known to chase cats. She is learning what it means to be a house dog and she's doing great! This little girl needs to be spayed and then she will be ready to be a wonderful addition to any family! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.When we took Kumo into rescue, we thought he was an Akbash mix. Rarely do we do DNA testing but his foster mom was curious, and we were a bit surprised to find out that our boy is an honorary Akbash only. Kumo is a Lab/GSD mix and his love of water and fetching is proof enough! This young boy may have had a rough past before he found himself in a Utah shelter and it has taken a lot of time for him to learn to trust. His circle of friends is small. Kumo needs time and space to warm up to new people. His timing! Kumo has been having a great summer break, doing some traveling with his foster mom and his doggy foster siblings. He does great with all dogs, and cats! And has had a blast as a regular at the dog park.
