Story
Miriam is a wonderful dog. She is incredibly intelligent and sweet to her owners. We got her a little over a year ago (she is about 6 years old) and it has become clear that she should not be in a house with kids. The rescue we got her from did not disclose any aggressive tendencies except some issues she had with other dogs. She is an alpha girl. With us she has shown some impulse control issues with mostly male strangers and the kids when they surprise her. These instances have involved growling and snapping but no biting. She would do really well in a house with another submissive dog who likes to run and play or even a playful cat. We have a cat who is not at all interested in her and she is very sweet and gentle with them. We also have backyard chickens that she does not mess with at all as they free range. Miriam loves a good walk and would be such a good companion to someone without small kids who does not have a lot of visitors coming and going.

Story
She’s a very smart dog. Loves attention. Loves her belly getting scratched. She’s crate trained. We trained her with a shock collar but shock her twice the entire time we’ve had her. She was raised with cats and birds. She doesn’t like small dogs. But we have not reintroduced her to small dogs. She’s full of energy for age.

Story
Meet Draco Draco was an owner surrender at no fault of his own.He has a skin issue that his owner could not afford to keep up with. He came in with his skin in terrible condition and started medication and he is doing so much better but will need further care and attention. Draco is super sweet, loves everyone he meets. He is good with other dogs but if another dog resides in the home meet and greets are required. He does seem to interested in cats so we would suggest a home with no cats. Draco has had a rough few months and deserves the best home possible!
