Story
Meet Suzie, A quirky gal who's ready to find her forever best friend. Suzie came into our care through no fault of her own when her previous family was no longer able to care for her. She was previously accustomed to living a quiet life with her human so the shelter environment was quite a shock got her. Once in a foster home she relaxed and her sweet nature and inquisitive personality began to show itself. Suzie is very affectionate once she's comfortable, and loves to be close to her person following them everywhere. A chatty lady, she's ready to answer all your questions with a quiet "merp" (she gives great advice). Suz loves her routines, she quickly picked up on when bedtime is at her fosters house and now will tell them when it's past her bedtime, meowing and jumping up on the bed for cuddles. She thoroughly enjoys treats, playtime, exploring and catnip and when she's done playing she loves to snuggle up on something comfy.Susan does not do well with change or other animals (she says they're stinky) and will resort to violence if she is stressed. Because of this she would do best in a quiet adult home with experienced cat owners who are able to tell when she's uncomfortable. She would prefer to start off in a smaller room of your home while she decompresses and becomes accustomed to her new environment. Once she if comfortable she is the most gentle, social, loving little lady so it's worth the wait for her to relax. Susan is ready to be your new best friend, are you ready to be hers? We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).Walk-ins are prioritized. Story
Meet Monk,Monk is a soulful, sensitive cat who thrives in calm, quiet environments with no other animals. He may be a little shy at first, but with patience and love, he blossoms into an affectionate companion, offering soft purrs and sweet headbutts to show his trust and care.Monk does have a grade 2 heart murmur, so regular vet check-ups will be important to ensure his continued well-being.While Monk is incredibly loving, he's also a highly intelligent cat who needs plenty of mental and physical enrichment to stay happy and balanced. Without proper stimulation, he may become frustrated, which can lead to aggressive behavior, including biting. For this reason, we recommend interactive play, puzzle toys, and even leash training to give him safe, structured outlets for his energy and curiosity.Monk is looking for a peaceful, understanding home where his emotional and physical needs will be met with kindness, patience, and respect. If you're someone who values the quiet beauty of a tender heart and are ready to help him thrive, Monk may just be the companion you've been waiting for.We are open to walk in's Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
