Story
Cheerio came into our care as part of a large group of cats living on a property, and due to this we believe he may enjoy the company of another cat in his new home.He is nervous to start and prefers to hide when feeling overwhelmed. We have him on an anxiety reducing medication while in shelter so that he can feel more comfortable with the hustle and bustle, and we would send him home with enough to ease his transition in the home as well.Cheerio is sweet, but not forward with his affection and is looking for a patient guardian to let him ease in at his own pace.He would be best suited for indoor living due to his nervous nature, but would love a good window for bird watching! If you are interested in adopting please fill out the application as the first step. Please note Cheerio will likely not be receptive to visitors as he is shy and needs more time to feel comfortable with new people.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Buff Weight: 5.17 Age: 7yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Are you looking for a Boston Terrier but can't have a dog? Look no further than this beautifully unique girl, Whimsy! She is a sweet kitty with a very interesting kinky tail and large, expressive eyes. She is a little wary of need situations and people, but once she decompresses she becomes the ultimate cuddle monster. Whimsy has had a rough start to her young life, being abandoned on a highway, but now she's ready to find someone dedicated to providing her the love and affection she needs. Whimsy is very excited for temptations and would love for her new home to have all the flavoursWhimsy could do well with another cat-social feline in the house, although she would do just as well being the center of attention.Whimsy's ideal home would be indoors only with her favourite people to give her all the head-butts and pets. She has not been around dogs in foster. The same goes for children, but she has been very tolerant of taking medication so would probably be okay with older, understanding kids.Whimsy does have some special needs, including an upcoming dental appointment. Please contact the office for more information. :)If interested, please put an application in online! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.05 Age: 2yrs 6mths 3wks

Story
Chuck Norris is a 3-year-old sweetheart who came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but his love for people is crystal clear 🧡. He wants to be everyone's friend and will happily soak up any attention that comes his way. When he arrived, Chuck had a few scratches from outdoor kitty disagreements, and at first he was a little swatty with us. It didn't take long to figure out why. Chuck really disliked being confined in a kennel, and once he had more space to roam, explore, and relax, he became his friendly, charming self again 😺✨He also has a funky little kink in his tail! It doesn't cause him any discomfort at all, but we can't help wondering what kind of adventure led to that cute little bend 🐾💛Chuck tested positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can still live long, happy, normal lives, and Chuck is well on his way. He does need to be an indoor only cat and the only cat in his future home, not because he's unwell, but to ensure he doesn't accidentally pass FIV to other feline friends. If you're looking for a loving, people focused companion with quirks, charm, and tons of affection to give, Chuck Norris is ready to win your heart ❤️🏡 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.48 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks
