Story
Hobbes is a debonair, long‑legged tabby gentleman who loves attention and will happily flop at your feet for pets. After his previous guardian passed away, he came to the SPCA and has been charming everyone with his affectionate, laid‑back nature. He enjoys cozy naps and tasty snacks-maybe a little too much-so a healthy diet will help him stay trim and feeling his best.He can be a touch nervous in new environments at first, but once he settles in, he's wonderfully friendly and loving. Hobbes is used to a calm adult home and would likely thrive in a quieter space, though older, cat‑savvy kids could be a great match. He has lived with other cats before and may do well with other animals given slow, patient introductions.Hobbes does have bilateral medial patellar luxation (MPL), a condition where the kneecaps can occasionally shift out of place. He manages it comfortably, and his main needs are maintaining a healthy weight and enjoying a lifestyle that's gentle on his joints. It doesn't take away from his charm-he's still a handsome, affectionate companion ready to bring warmth to the right home.If you think Hobbes might be your match, please apply in person or online:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 7.24 Age: 1yrs 9mths 3wks

Story
Meet Ash & Pickle! An adorable and sweet brother and sister duo looking for their fur-ever home together. These young cuties can be a bit shy and nervous at first in a new environment but given time to adjust, and lots of loving pets and reassurance, they will soon let their curiosity win out and start exploring their new home. Pickle is the one who adjusts more quickly and will soon be all over you for attention. Ash is a bit shyer and will take more time to adjust to his new environment. Being young cats having lots of toys, scratching posts, and various enrichment will have them playing and having a blast in no time. They'll also really enjoy pets and love once they feel comfortable but may want to hang back and hide a little bit at first. This pair has been together since birth and hate to be separated so are looking for that special home that wants a dashing duo to join them. Ash & Pickle have lived with other cats before but we're not sure about dogs or children. They will need slow, proper introductions to new animals and kids. Young children may be a bit too overwhelming for them but older, cat savvy kids may be fine with time. Could you be the one to open your home and heart to this beautiful pair of young cats with so much potential and love to give?If you are interested in adopting, please apply in person during viewing hours or online at the link below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 3.24 Age: 0yrs 9mths 0wks

Story
Eeyore may have earned his name from the solemn little expression he wears, but don't be fooled-beneath that serious face is a confident, endearing boy with plenty of personality. He knows what he wants, whether that's leaning his whole body into you for affection or quietly letting you know he'd prefer a bit of space. Once he trusts you, his love is unmistakable: he gives full‑force head‑butts, follows you around for pets, and happily settles in wherever you are. He's not a fan of being picked up, but he absolutely adores attention on his own terms.Eeyore came to us from a property with many other cats, some of whom were ill, so he has been exposed to upper respiratory infections. He was hit hard with a URI and now lives with chronic rhinitis-meaning he's a very snotty gentleman who will need a family comfortable helping him wipe his nose when needed. Luckily, he's wonderfully tolerant of the process. Any future feline friends should be up to date on their vaccines, but Eeyore himself would be just as content living with another cat as he would being the only one in the home. This big, handsome guy could also use a little support with weight loss, and he'll thrive in a home that can offer healthy meals, gentle playtime, and a calm environment where he can feel secure. With his mix of sass, sweetness, and unmistakable charm, Eeyore is ready to bring warmth, character, and companionship to a family who appreciates a cat with a little extra personality.
