Like many cats who have spent time in shelter environments, I do carry a common feline upper respiratory virus. This simply means I may have occasional mild flare-ups, usually during times of stress, that can look like sneezing, watery eyes, or minor cold-like symptoms. Most of the time, I feel perfectly normal and go about my life like any other cat. Long term, this just means keeping an eye out for symptoms and providing supportive care if I ever have a flare-up. It doesn’t shorten my lifespan or stop me from being a wonderful companion. For compatibility, I would do best either as your one and only, or with other cats who are already vaccinated and comfortable around cats with typical shelter backgrounds.
