Twix is a lovely girl who truly lives up to her name—sweet, classic, and impossible to resist. While she might start off a little shy in a new environment, it doesn’t take long for her confident side to shine through. Once she feels at home, you’ll find she’s the ultimate companion. She is a "purr machine" who loves being petted and settles in quickly once she knows she’s safe. She is very friendly with other cats and would likely enjoy a feline sibling. She is also expertly independent! Twix is perfectly happy to entertain herself with toys or enjoy a quiet nap, making her a great fit for a variety of households. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and easy-going friend, Twix is ready to meet you! Twix’s life began in a backyard, where a kind soul looked out for her family despite a difficult environment. When her feeder prepared to move, he wanted to give the family one final gift: a safe future through TNR. Tragically, Twix’s mother passed away just a day before her appointment. Knowing the neighborhood wasn't safe for two vulnerable four-month-old kittens, the feeder reached out for help to give them a chance at life indoors. While her orange brother has already found his forever home, Twix is still waiting for her turn. She has blossomed from a shy backyard kitten into a confident, purring companion. Her journey hasn't been easy, but she’s ready to leave her past behind and start her "happily ever after" with you. Twix can potentially fit in any home, especially one with resident cats.
